Aha! See he is in fact an Undine!! Any human would have had a happier face than that, even George, well, george would still be laughing at that whole "wheres Sulu?" Georges retort you may ask? "not in the closet.. OHHHH Myyyy"
Well, Jorel is not that interested but Quinn probably is - assuming Jorel is the Trill and Quinn is the symbiotic organism.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
He wouldn't be a PROPER Starfleet Admiral if he wasn't at least a little insane and abusive of his position.
Geez, didn't you guys watch the shows at all?
Absolutely he would abuse his power, for exactly that. I mean seriously, how many admirals didn't abuse their power so the lead character(s) could prove some point?
Our characters are the same way. After all, why else could we fly around in pretty much any ship, doing whatever we want, and not have a single person ask why.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

Y'know, I never thought of it that way. So once I got past "well duuurrrrrrr, how'd I miss that" I now want to know:
Since Admirals in Star Trek seem to be mainly catalysts for over-the-top plots involving starting huge interstellar wars and the like, when do we get a storyline where we're the ones going off the rails? No, seriously. All kinds of fun doing "bad-guy" type stuff then we get pulled back from the edge at the last moment, come to our senses, and in true Trek style somehow get forgiven without so much as a pretend court-martial.
Or, come to think...we get busted back to Captain, with a rank system revamp that leaves us there once we complete the "gone wacko" plot line- some rocking content, with appeasement of the "We should be Captains and no higher" crew as a bonus!

He doesn't look very amused. I don't think he wanted that. Why are you trying to seduce that poor old man?
You may recall from Coliseum that he has a heart condition.
I always figured that was a setup for a new Quinn but that seems like a mostly dropped plotline now. (I always figured Quinn would die ending the war, his weak heart making the injuries beyond repair, and the symbiote would get a new host.)
You know...if I had known that the main Federation officer was a Trill named Jorel Quinn, I never would've named my first character (a joined Trill) Tyrel Quintaris.
She is just like my Fire: a moron. My Fire cheated her way through the academy and Starfleet Medical. She didn't have a single point in any med skills despite being a doctor. It was only snagging a symbiote that made her passably intelligent. This chica is the same way: she is young and stupid and hoping to entice the Quinn Worm into her belleh.
A Dev should totally make a similar girl Quinn for the next Season. Then we would all know that she succeeded.
No, he's not abusing his power. You're abusing his patience. That look on his face is him struggling with the urge to bust you down to petty officer, and knowing he can't because you're one of his best captains. I've seen it before.

Are you suggesting someone you know tried a similar attempt?

Why make such an assumption?
He might be asexual! :P
Or tails...he always struck me as leaning toward the furry side of things.

Why can't they be both?
