Just as it says. When doing PVE or PVP all I have to do is load up the ship build that I made and saved, depending on witch one I do. Now that we are Kinda forced into selecting ground traits. I've found myself doing some ground missions. What I find myself not doing is taking time to switch out all my space traits for ground traits. I know you have the 4 ground traits already slotted but in your "Personal Traits" thats where all the Special traits from Lockboxes go. Such as Firearm specialist and Pack leader. Very good ground traits I might add. But I don't use them because I would have to take the time before each mission to switch out all my space traits for ground traits manually. I Suggest that Cryptic gives us the same (without the bugs) Options with our characters that they gave us with our ships. The abilitys to create builds and save them. It just takes to long to manually switch out every trait and sometimes diffrent duty officers. If i'm doing a 5man stf. I will slot 5 duty officers that improve my characters abilitys. If I'm doing a Episode with my away team. I will equip duty officers that imrpove my entire teams abilitys. For example My main is a Tac. If doing a STF equiping a Armory Officer that has a chance of beaming in a additional phaser, disruptor or plasma turret would be useless. But with my away missionis my Engineer could benifit greatly from it. There are alot of great builds out there. I just don't have the time to build one before every mission but If I could just equip a build that I had saved. I would take the time to make a few builds. This feature Needs to be added to STO. Would you support me in getting cryptic to take notice.

Me personally, I feel a ship or character losses some of their uniqueness with all the traits and load-out switching.
Every popular Star Trek ship has a character including the crew themselves. Going mention Earth Space Dock and Deep Space 0. Even the USS Enteprise or the Defiant. Of course, the Bird of Prey. They did not switch roles.
The ship embodied the crew. The crew embodied the ship.
That's how it should be. I feel Cryptic lost that.
I saw so many Tempest ships when I logged in but I did not feel they was unique like the bigger name ships.
