Possible problem with Counter-Command Multi-Conduit Energy Relay

Hello all.

One of the supposed benefits of this console with the long winded name is +26.2% radiation damage. The Engineering ability Aceton Beam supposedly does radiation damage. Radiation damage that's NOT boosted by the the Counter-C.....ergy Relay console.

Is this intentional or in error? Shouldn't ALL radiation sources be boosted by this? (Except for Multi-Spectral Particle Generator as that specifies that no abilities or items boost it.)

Based on the other mods to the console photon , phaser and disrupter, I would say its a weapon damage bonus. All other radiation damage from powers are exotic damage so only particle gene will increase it.

Yeah I belive its broken too, like its not +26% but rather +2% or so.
Tried it on my scimitar's Thalaron Pulse, wich does radiation damage too, and the tooltip only says around 2k dmg increase, from 31k dmg to 33k dmg. My guess in case of the Aceton Beam, becouse of the much smaler base number (30-50 dmg per sec i think), that +2% wont show an increase.

It's nice that they release new shinies, but they really should work right before being let out in to the wild.

It's a Tac Console/Weapon Console...it's entirely possible that it will not boost non-Weapon/Gear Radiation damage.

As for the folks mentioning the amount - it's a Tac Console, it's going to boost strength/base damage...not necessarily the number you see.

Sound logic. I just wish that they would specify these things on their items. Stating that it boosts "weapon radiation" as opposed to "radiation" changes a lot of things!!

The new biomolecular weapons have a feature which, after 8 seconds of slowing a target, will finish off with radiation damage which ignores shields. If it procs, of course.

I thought Aceton Beam was a debuff that lowers the affected ship's damage output? I can see it working for things like the Harg'peng though.

It also applies a Rad DoT.

Huh... as I don't really use Aceton Beam... I don't really know everything it can do I guess. *shrug*

Had the radiation of the Aceton Beam been affected it might have become a possible option. As it's not affected, nope. Still sucks.
