Slow Launcher Patching

Hello everyone, yesterday I uninstalled STO and reinstalled it but the only way to do it was through ARC. After the download the launcher came up and said patching but doesn't seem to be any progress. I opened up task manager and the STO file size is getting bigger but very slowly it was 70k and now 12hrs later its 90k, I also looked in my installed programs and STO is not showing up installed. So does anyone know how to fix this or speed up the patching?

I've noticed the patching has been extremely slow for me lately as well. And I know it isn't my connection since I still show 23Mb/s down in a speed test. Not sure whats going on there. Only thing I can tell you is to find something else to do while you wait. (I start patching on my lunch break and it's normally done by the time I get off of work!)

So what host did your 'speed test' connect to? As different locations on the Internet will have different performance metrics...

The network diagnostic you should have used is the 'Net Test' which is described in this thread...
