My old roster:
3 Security Officer (Security Escort version usually, but I have a set of melee ones)
1 Biochemist (consumable cooldown reduction version)
1 Nurse
Now, with a sixth doffslot and two seasons of updates between now and when I actually knew how to play this game, I'm not sure what to do with those slots. The biochemist stays, but that still leaves five slots potentially free. Proccing in an army of 8 SEIIIs is amusing but hardly a priority, and tacs are so durable now that the nurse isn't useful any more.
nb: I think Lunge is goofy looking and I try not to use it. This is mostly for PvE, I'm sick of PvP in this game.
EDIT: Got a "Fova Gedel" that (claims to) debuff target's dr by 20 for 15s when using Target Optics. That's pretty neat.

Well it depends alot what kit modules you are using in your kit(s).

Tacs seem to have the worst doffs on ground (except for melee). And those security officers seem to be bugged for me (and fleet mates). With 3 purple slots, the chance to get at least 2 additional officers should be about 50%. But for some reason it almost never procs.
Most times I am running with doffs for my boffs, multiple turrets and co.

Many STO doffs, including SE3 doffs, don't proc individually but as as a unit. The proc on three purples isn't three instances of 20% to proc 2 extra SE3s, it's a single 20% chance to proc 6 extra SE3s. Not sure how it works if you have a mixed set of different colors. Doffs for boffs is an interesting idea, for the places you can take boffs to. Maybe a biochemist and a biologist and load up a couple sci boffs with Tricorder Scans.
mosul33: I haven't made a new kit yet, but I love Rally Cry and I'm sure that'll be in it. 8% is pretty bad for a power with such a long cd, though. That overwatch doff looks very interesting, maybe worth building around. Thanks
There's always the Ambush DOFF which bumps up the damage Ambush gives, but instead it's given out as a DoT instead of one hit.
You can set up a melee focused kit with all of that fun stuff, and use the melee DOFFs as well.
Or a team-focused buffing kit like MA, Overwatch, and Rally Cry together. All three give most or all of your team mates a LOT of buffs if they stick close to you.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

I've been using 3x Security Escort (Chance for bonus Escort), 1x Biochemsit (Hypo/Shield Charge/Power Cell cooldown reduction), 1x Dominion Advisor (Cleanse all debuffs from self + 3 teamates with Overwatch), and 1x Voth Sensors Officer (30 meter, 180 degree forward arc, -20 all damage resistance rating to all enemy targets upon Target Optics activation).
I'm using Overwatch, Motion Accelerator, Rally Cry, Lunge, and Draw Fire. If Shield Distribution Officers for Draw Fire were working correctly, then I would be using them instead of the security escorts. For some missions, I will drop Overwatch for a Plasma or Photon Grenade and Draw Fire for Ambush. Security Escort armies are still very powerful...especially if you pop Rally Cry + Motion Accelerator + Strike Team right after use.

On my tac I got too that biochimist to reduce cd on hypos and target optics debuff doff. Then I got an advisor doff that clears hazards when using overwatch (http://sto.gamepedia.com/Specialization:_Advisor), a transporter doff from embassy wich cuts down the cd of devices that summons stuff (http://sto.gamepedia.com/Embassy_Romulan_duty_officers), like the shard of posibilities and an assault squad officer that add chance of heal+revive to teammates when using raly cry (http://sto.gamepedia.com/Specialization:_Assault_Squad_Officer). Cant remember the 6th one, since now i see there are just 5 tho.
Hope this helps
