If Rene Auberjonois is avaiable for gigs like this why not STO?

I'm not trying to down play his work here because I like this and he delivers it outstandingly and I imagine it had to have been really fun for him to do.

Yes I know this is old but it did not dawn on me to talk about this till now for some reason.

I'd love to hear Rene Auberjonois voice has Odo here in STO while he still has such commanding presence.

Thanks for your time

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

It'd be great to have him, but it would depend on:

    1) Having a story involving Odo (which would be great), and

    2) Price.
You're right. The work here is very important.

He was involve with Star Trek: Infinite Space which was to be set during the Dominion war, so he has been involved in the game world before. He and Nana even make a video together to promote that game which ceased developement just as STO was going to become "free-to-play", Maybe he felt burned by that experience. by the way that game was to use the Unity plug-in.

As long as he got paid, I doubt he cared one way or the other.

He's probably more expensive than most Star Trek Alumni. He seems to get a lot of work : http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0041281/

    Not necessarily.

At least to me, he seems to have a more established acting career than the other cast members prior to doing DS9.

Then again I don't really look into the backgrounds of actors since that is generally something I am not interested in. Therefore, my above statement could be incorrect.

I'm sure that Rene is one of the actors at the top of the list if there should be ever a Gamma Quadrant expansion.

If that happens, hopefully they can bring back Quark and get Armin to reprise his role. Because you really can't have Odo without Quark. And really would make the dialogue all the more fun! :D
