Misleading 0 Rep XP Hourlies

These 0 XP hourlies are a pain. The main issue is their insistence on showing the icon for Rep XP AT ALL, the 0 lost in the design and the next number.

I keep kicking myself as I fil to notice before I start filling them.

Now, I fully realize I will eventually get used to them as an idea (up until now, Dilithium-focused projects lived in the 3rd row, only), I would strongly suggest removing the Icon for Rep XP if the amount is 0, making it at least a bit easier to notice.

I agree. Maybe shade it in grey, or put a reload timer on display. It's a 20 hour wait after 3 hourly projects. gotta know when those 20 hours are up some how.
The dress is gold and white. Over 70% people says so. When viewed from a certain screen angle it appears blue and black. The dress displayed on amazon is a blue and black dress, but it's not the same dress in the picture. If you're seeing blue & black you're slightly colored blind. A normal upright screen = white and gold.

Why not just make the hourlies like they were BEFORE the changes....HOURLY. But in reality, they aren't hourly so it's already misleading. might as well make each hourly have an 5-6 hour cooldown, since that is about all you get every 20hrs anyway.

:( the 1st day this rep came out I managed to do the hourly project twice, then not again for xp till I ranked, day I ranked I did it twice, then not till T2, same again, twice that day and then nothing till T3 when same happened, then after last patch, it worked maybe twice a day, but often not at all. I maxed all other reps ages ago, so Undine rep is the only rep I need and with the massive nerfing taking away all our passive skills there is getting less and less point in me playing at all except to feed my fleets starbase and help others. I love the game, just annoying that having grinded like mad I feel I am being punished (no free rep weapons and consoles from Omega, Romulan and Nukara rep for me :( ) whine complain whinge grumble groan sputter...

I've been experiencing the same problems, and just like everyone else I am getting really fed up of this situation!
Since this patch who knows how much time and resources have gone into the Hourly Reputation Quests and been wasted due to the fact that the Quests aren't working like they're suppose to. By giving you Reputation XP in small amounts throughout the day, which they aren't doing at the moment!
So the only solution until the problem is fixed is just to do the Daily Reputation Quests.
    Please fix this problem!!!:D

I really cannot see the point in these hourlies that offer no XP, it's not making any sense.

The Undine rep hourly gives 200XP, the Romulan hourly give 200XP.

But the Nukara, Omega and Dyson hourlies gives 0 XP?

Why no consistency in the rep system?
I thought the whole point of the new daily marks package was that you could earn enough marks to do the daily & hourly grind once on each rep system per day.

Seems like the current set-up is leaving some of the reps at a disadvantage.

Not quite free. They cost EC. But I suppose they sell for more than they're bought for.

True, and you also get dilithium. Even better during the dilithium event. But I use the antiproton ground weapons from the Borg crates so to me that is something that is useful.

Not much luck getting BNP, etc.

You get 3 hourlies of each rep (with xp) per day. After that they give no more xp until the cd ends. How is that hard to understand?

They also provide more dilithium per mark than both the reputation earner and the 15 second mark converter. I get your annoyance, but those of us that don't grind endlessly enjoy the extra dilithium sources.

    Grind endlessly?

Crystalline Catastrophe elite, use the mark converter, approximately 2k dilithium.

Elite STFs, same idea, 2k for the first and about 1.5k for the other two.

Convert your 3 Borg neural processors. Now you total about 8k, and it takes about 45 minutes or so.

They should get rid of the hourly and add in 4 new ones...

3 projects with the same rewards and requirements as the hourly with a 20 hour cool down.

    project a
    project b
    project c

That way you can slot and do all these at the same time and wait a day to do again.

and a 4th project with the same requirements as the hourly but with no rep point reward with an hourly cooldown for folks who want to just get the gear.

Convert your 3 Borg neural processors. Now you total about 8k, and it takes about 45 minutes or so.

Specifically an Elite STF's reward is 1910 dilithium using the old system (assuming the optional and no bonus marks or processors) and is now 2993.3 dilithium, making the same assumptions.

Also, that 45 minutes? That's one character. Multiply that by three for a free to play account. Add a percentage for one or more characters being less capable than your main. You're looking at three hours. A day. Of running repetitive missions. On top of whatever you do in the game for fun.

So yeah. I stand by my analysis.

it's not hard to understand, but i've encountered an issue. on a fresh 50 toon i just ran romulan rep hourlies three times, now i'm done until 20 hours from then...

    but!
i ran one each of my nukara and omega reps, and now both of them are saying the next hourly assignment will give 0 xp...this is not what was advertised

    This sounds like a bug.
