Can't login via ARC

So I decided to give ARC a try. I downloaded the client/launcher/whatever and loaded everything up, tried to log in to STO, but whenever I hit "play" to play STO, it just switches to my desktop. The game client never loads and I can't get into STO.

Is there some guiide/FAQ that tells me how I am suppose to connect to a specific game? How can I figure out if/what I am doing wrong so I can play via the ARC client?

Any help would be appreciated.

2. I have Arc installed but the game does not start when I click 'Play Now'. What's wrong?

Try running the 'Repair Arc' option from your Start menu -> All programs -> Perfect World Entertainment -> Arc.

Yeah, tried that. Didn't seem to work for me. I still can't seem to get STO to load on ARC.

Depending on your connection you might need to re-install STO via ARC to get it to run through it since that repair did not work for you.

Should be able to backup your Live Folder, uninstall it then run the install stop the patcher and copy over the backed up folder to the new install to speed things up then patch up the rest from there.

Are you getting the log on screen? I was but I was not launching the game. I found out that my VoIP, mumble was the problem. I usually started mumble prior to the game to get the overlay. Now I have to start mumble after I am logged into the game, past the character select screen.
