With Fed and KDF finally at a stage where they will become allies once again (thanks to a Iconian killing most of the Klingon High Counsel <i want that body armor though>), what will happen to what's left of pvp in game?

It will be buried, I hope.

But seriously, what does the two have in common? Sure, it was explained off as a story aspect, but all they have to do is adjust the story a bit for it to be 'legal.' Not a difficult thing to do.

It's no different than anything else in the game - if somebody never plays that mission - then the peace doesn't exist. Even if somebody does play that mission - there's nothing stopping them from playing at a point in time when the peace didn't exist.

It's a themepark - just because you've gone on a ride once doesn't mean you can't ride it again...and just because there is a new ride that you haven't ridden, doesn't mean you can't ride any of the other rides either.

Also, it could be just changed to "wargames" now.
The progression of the story won't really change the premise of PvP.

Ker'rat is at a point in time before the end to open hostilities...why would it change???

They're not going to go back and rewrite everything because of the change that took place with S9.

Does it give them the opportunity to create a new zone akin to Ker'rat where they could do that sort of wargame with random teams? Sure...but that wouldn't change Ker'rat.

I still think S9.5 should introduce a competitive PvEvP version of the Undine Space Battlezone along the lines of what Ker'rat offers.

Would be nice to have a new zone, perhaps with some rewards to draw some victims... er, players into a semi-PvP environment. Kind of a PvP with a participation award zone.

You don't have to play by yourself...it's a MMO after all.
