Ancient races part 2

Aside from what I mentioned before, should we have races like the Gorn and Orion go through old records about our current opponent?

I don't know about the Orions, but the Gorn seem to have 3 races, I think that might have been the Iconians doing, maybe a behavior&enviroment experiment.

    Nah, I'd rather blame the Preservers for messing with the Gorn.

    The Orions are interesting in that they have been a spacefaring civilization for a long time. It'd be very interesting to see someone explore what they were doing 2 or 3 thousand years ago.

    I saw the three races part somewhere on this forum about the Gorn.

    I'm not sure if it applies to STO, but in Starfleet command, the Gorn are known to have had at least 3 homeworlds.... simultaneously.... before developing warp drive.

    The Gorn on the 3 planets weren't identical, but similar enough to produce fertile hybrid offspring. My pet theory is that the Preservers did it because their actual HW was in peril
