I love this game but it has now become unplayable as of season 9...reasons...
1 Every time I move maps my doffs are changed.
2 My ship and ground tray change when I change maps.
3 Exchange is usually slow as hell most of the time.
4 Half the time my macro goes out in the middle of a Stf.
5 The Loadout doesn't keep things as they should be and when I try to load it again its still all wrong.
6 Ship weapons go out in the middle of a Stf
And Im sure there are a few other things I cant think of at the moment...
I always see post with people talking about Nerd Rage and now I understand what it means..Season 9 was pushed out way to fast just to make a quick buck..and Craptic you dam well know this wasn't ready to launch but someone gave the go ahead anyway...For shame on all of you....
Then uninstall and stop complaining mkay? No one will feel your miss.

Though to the OP, I don't have a single one of those issues, but then I don't use loadouts either, I have 12 captains, each with a different ship, I don't need to start doing multiples.
I don't know what setup you have or how many characters, perhaps just set everything to default the way you prefer and see if it messes up.
I only have one loadout on my ship, so I know it has nothing to do with that. But when I login, ALL my duty officers are removed from their spots, and ALL my ship's equipment is in my inventory again. I put the equipment back on my ship, put all the duty officers back where they belong, then save the loadout again. I log out, log back in, and everything is gone again.

Dude, there are ALWAYS bugs at season launches. You remember s2? S4? LoR?
Season 9's been smooth by comparison. Hell, even compared to other companies; I remember playing DDO, and the entire game would break for a week with every. Single. Update.
I'm having the problem with consumables switching out. After I "refill" some consumables from inventory to my ship slots (i.e. re-stacking to 20), then at some random point later, the position of the stacks I've taken from in the inventory changes around in the inventory.
Also I get random items from the loadout moving back to inventory (e.g. a torpedo launcher will disappear from the ship slot and move back to inventory).
Not sure if this is reproducible. It's certainly new behaviour since S9.
OP makes some good points. The three most frustrating things I have experienced in Season 9:
1. The Exchange is horribly slow.
2. My space weapons randomly stop autofiring
3. Game forgets that I have ground BOffs assigned to my ground team. I start a ground mission and I end up with security escorts... I have to leave and open my stations tab to remind the game that I do in fact have 4 assigned ground BOffs so it will remember to beam them in the next time I start said mission.
OP, I am with you, haveing a lot of the same problems. Thought at first it was just one specific ship (FHEC), but then it all started happening on my Fleet Defiant as well. May go in and try to delete the load outs and just go without them and see how it works. Either way...seems like a big step back fromwhere we were a month ago.
I've got a bug. Except for friends, my chat does not work at all. And I've reset all chat settings to default.
For team matches really quite annoying.

The bigger problem I see is with kits on the exchange. Not being able to search for quality and not being able to see more than 400 make it impossible to find frames. Modules are findable, however, too expensive. It's been a while now. There needs to be more sources. I've done assimilation about 15 times and found 2 modules that I want. Not going to do it 30+ more times to get the other 3. The wait will be another month for the price to go down? This means a 2 month wait to reasonably use one of the main features for the season. Doesn't seem right to me.

Be glad you don't have the problems mentioned by the OP. But at the same time, because you don't have the problems doesn't mean the OP doesn't. I have the same problems mentioned by the OP and they are annoying. Every time I switch between space and ground maps, my space trays are messed up upon returning to space. Two of my weapon slots have to be set back to auto-fire. My equipped devices/batteries have to put back on my tray. My captain skills have to re-added. My shield distribution button has to put back. Again, annoying, especially if immediately thrown into battle upon returning to space.

Well for modules PWE said they are going to put simple white modules on the EC vendors. Though quite frankly why they were not there to begin with, is asinine.

Yes. I'm stilling doing ground maps without kit skills. Fun. And no, I don't have an existing kit to fall back on. I just started playing again after a 2 year break. My character is brand new, though I think a kit module did finally drop for me last night. I was in a hurry to log out at the time, but I'm pretty sure I saw a tool tip say "kit module" when spamming the "F" key to pick up the items before logging out.

I have the same problems, it likes to remove my batteries from my ship, and randomly my doffs get switched out, I've had a shield from my inventory poof back on to another ship in my yard, its always the fleet elite resilient one, if I don't have it on my ship, at some point it will disappear. I've resetup, saved the new load out to no effect.
Can we get the loadout system removed? I never wanted it, and don't use it. If not, have an option to not use the ****ing useless piece of TRIBBLE.

whatever you agree with OP or not, loadout system really could use some improvement, there is plenty of bugs, especially concerning the doffs, not changing or changing into something different that you saved, or sometimes refusing to change at all, and thus preventing your ship from equipping the equipment, thus resetting/bugging the entire loadout, forcing you to redo things from scratch.
My personal solution is to bank the new kit frames and modules and continue to use the old kits until such time as I collect what I need to use the new kits.

I had a breakthrough today. I can now search rarity on kits and kit modules!
So that makes searching frames now possible.
I also gave assimilation one more go and got the 3 mil one I was keen to get. I bought the other 2 for about 3 mil. So, in all I only spent 3 mil on the purple XI kit that I wanted.
I just did undine infiltration to test and it is awesome.

Hell yeah. There are many issues after Season 9. And some are quite annoying. And few are:
- Ship tray doesn't stay same as I put it.
- Repeating sounds after completing Undine Infiltration (which repeats through the whole game contest).
- Game takes a lot longer to load, and even changing characters takes a lot longer (even when you click from one toon to another, it takes bout 15 seconds to switch to toon picture),
- graphics stucks,
- sometimes in the middle of missions shield indicator goes of, weapons stops firing or arent visible. And the list can go on and on.
I mean I oove this game. But what it seems the dev doesn't. There have been many complains about bugs before the season 9, but are still in the game. Few of them are:
- unvisible heads when wearing EV suits
- Many tailor bugs (unvisible neck when changing upper uniform, color changing...).
But what can we expect - this is CRYPTIC (PW) after all.

Most of those points were present before S9 already. Its funny how people blames S9 for everything when most of the bugs (with the exception of the trait system fail and new things like kit revamps) were present in STO since a long time ago.
Its like people finally is waiting for some excuses to FINALLY stop playing. Well, sorry but i dont have any advise to you, since this is the same story month after month.

Check the Tailor ... all "Armor Visuals" are gone, and just Costume Options from now on ...
There was a similar problem with consumables in ground tray settings with LoR was launched. It was fixed after a couple of patches.
No idea why and how this old bug ended up in space tray.

7 Graphic bugs/glitches on NWS (only playable with low settings)
8 Cant change all my traits on some characters
9 stealth "balance" = even fulltanks get 1 shot killed regularly
10 items get removed from shipitemslots randomly
11 batteries you pick up DONT go to you itemslots to refill stacks
12 weaponfire is not displayed on cpmbat for random periouds
and thats what jsut came to MY MIND in a few sec

Be glad you don't have the problems mentioned by the OP. But at the same time, because you don't have the problems doesn't mean the OP doesn't.
