I'm not sure if this is a bug or not but anyone else noticing that the radiation damage on expiration doesn't seem to be working properly ?

I was looking at a few fight's with it and throughout them all I only saw it actually go off once, what I believe may be happening is that the 8sec timer is possibly being reset when the debuff gain's another stack, this combined with the damage not apparently going off when the target dies (hence obviously expiring the debuff) seems to be the culprit.

Was just wanting to know if anyone else had noticed this ?

I'm going to try it some more and see if I'm just imagining things but figured more eyes might help.


If a *Dev* happens to read this is this behavior intended for the weapon or is this indeed a bug ?


btw : not sure if this should be here or in bug report's since I'm not sure if its really a bug or not or if indeed its really happening and I'm just missing the proc's or something.

Ok after some more testing yeah I was apparently seeing thing's the proc does seem to go off when they die but it is almost un-noticable unless there is another target in range of it's detonation.

However I did encounter a actual problem the 2ndary fire won't actually detonate if the target die's during its channel which is kinda worse.

    The timer is obviously too long. It is a proc that activates a timer. Most foes will be dead before the proc goes off and only bosses and Elite Bosses will last long enough for the proc to be seen. So the issue is if Cryptic wants to make it into a corpse explosion power.

    oh if anyone was finding it odd yeah I did quote the original post and tossed in the new info below it just in-case someone is thinking its not proccing and comes across this post.

    probably a odd way to go about it in retrospect :)

    That would explain it. I got the rifle on my main this morning and tested it on the Breen on Zaria before going to work and wondered about the lack of explosions after witnessing the effect for the first time. My away team on that character can rip through most non-boss enemies even without my character, so he lives in a target-poor environment if Cryptic doesn't force him to fight alone or alongside Tuvok the tank.:P

    There is bug animation wen you use the second attack and continuous whit the first attack animation get bug.

    I had a post the other day about the rep weapons. When I used them I did more damge against Voth than against the undine lol. So I think there is a glich or something. :)
