I got to thinking about all the sayings that human societies have that resemble the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition, so I thought to make a thread where we could compile a list of them. Any widespread or cliche'd saying of a similar form to the Ferengi Rules, but that is not already a Ferengi Rule, is open season.
Here's a few to get us started:
1: A Fool and his Money are soon parted.
2: There's a Sucker born every minute.
3: Time is Money.
4: Money talks.
5: A penny saved is a penny earned.
