Make Hur'q and Felkri more prominent

One of the best thing of DS9 is that it balanced both Klingon story and Earth story perfectly well. I think they should do the same with the Hur'q (but instead of KDF only, allow all factions to be attacked and encountered by them), especially since it's likely, if not outright, that Hur'q/Felkri is an Iconian subservant race, and Starbase 24 seriously need an update, especially with the ceasefire declared. Call it starbase 24 elite featuring KDF ships with OMGWTFBBQ weapons.

Furthermore, aside from pushing the Iconian story further along, since Hur'qs are from Gamma quardrant, it would give players even more excuse to visit Gamma quardrant

The only reason that I will be against it is that it would give starfleet the Kar'fi

Starfleet players don't need to get a Kar'fi as a reward for wiping out these demonic wannabes and vermin.

I would consider it paying interest on the debt we owe the Klingon Empire for all of their past help. And all of my Federation characters like target rich environments.

    /signed.

I'd like to see more of the Hur'q and the Fek'ihri in the game.
They kinda' dropped the ball after the last Fek'ihri episode on the KDF side when you find residual Hur'q DNA after defeating the final Fek'ihri boss. I always hoped they'd go back and develop a new more intriguing storyline afterwards that would explain some connection between the Fek'ihri and the Hur'q and why they attacked Qo'noS and Boreth. I would like them to pick up on this and do some more epic missions like the Fek'ihri ones are.

    Signed. With emphasis.

This'd give Tacofangs the chance to make a Fek'lhri planetary invasion map or something. Just think what kinds of toys they'll give you after the New ESD and Dyson Sphere supercrit wins, Tacofangs!

    This^^^^^

I just wish that I could make a character who's an amorphous blob with eyes, and then I could bring Sergeant Schlock (my favorite webcomic character) to Star Trek...

I disagree. I mean the Fek'ihri episode was the most heavy metal badass epicn STO will ever get, but boy doesn't all of that make sense :D

Where was it ever said the Hur'q were from the Gamma Quadrant?

Its quoted in the wiki on the memory alpha site but its also stated on there that by 2372 the Hur'q were extinct. Further more in the DS9 episode "The sword of Kahless" the Hur'q are identified as from being originally from the gamma quadrant. Or at the very least having a large enough presence there that many of the spoils from their raids and invasions of other worlds where kept in this location. Most notably the aforementioned "Sword of Kahless" was recovered from one such world.
Oh, it's not broken? We can soon fix that!

I imagined maybe the Hur'q pillaged the Klingons resources to fix the Sphere from a collision with an asteroid or comet, or some internal accident.

What I always imagine is that Hur'q/felkri/and Klingon was Iconian's warrior race ala Jemhadar, and that they invaded Qonos as a gift for their old master. Perhaps that guy kahlass fought is actually an Iconian in disguise, and the main reason why Iconians are more pissed at klingons is because they dealt the final blow.

Ooh. I actually quite like this idea. The Fek'ihri are one of STO's more compelling villains, if only because of their awesome, wonderfully villain-ish visual style. (This only applies in space though. I'm not a fan of fighting things that don't actually use proper weapons.) Also, we are going to need Iconian footsoldiers down the line, since none of the existing servitor races really fit that mold, and...well...fighting Iconians en masse would be absurd, to put it mildly. On the other hand, it might be nice to leave the Hur'q as a separate threat, although the timing is a bit too similar for it to be coincidence.

In any case, yeah. I'm up for more Hur'q. Preferably blowing up Klingons until their betters in the Republic come to save them. :D

(Was anyone else actually kind of disappointed that the Undine failed to destroy Qo'noS?)

(Okay I'll stop with the anti-Klingon stuff now.)

    Also, I want a Pa'anuri combat pet.

There would be NOTHING--literally NOTHING--more epic and OP than that. A planet-sized sentient coil of dark matter that can imitate a gravity gun and targets antimatter reactors first and foremost?

    OP.

    +1

I'd love to see more of them in game. I just went through that arc for my Klink Tac and it is one of the best episode series in the game imo. Who doesn't want to go on an amazing adventure for honor and glory where you'll recruit an army of ghost warriors to help you storm the gates of Klingon hell?
