AM I the only one who things these kits are difficult. I am not talking about the modules (that is hard to get by) but the different attributes to the kit shell so to speak. I mean what id the difference?
Now you just have to get the affixes you want AND the module slots you want.
Oh, and then get the modules you want.
The new kits are okay for established 50s who have nothing better to do than grind but I don't look forward to leveling a new captain that I don't have old kits for.
This is my Risian Corvette. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
The frames boost your ground skills on your skills screen. If you can, try to find a frame that boosts ground skills you like or under-invested points in, although it technically doesn't matter if you just want a kit that's equal to the old ones. (The old ones didn't boost skills.)
Some of the new ones (like the Fluidic kit frames) also boost specific powers in addition to ground skills.
Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.
