We still can not do missions from the Foundry that involved the wall console that was across from the transporter room in the old ESD. Why hasn't it been mapped to a new location? It is the single most heavily used door in all the Foundry. This means that a great many missions are broken because we just can't start them. This includes the quite excellent One Too Many by XR-337, which is a Spotlight Mission. Nor can we do Alpha Flight or Repairing Utopia Planitia because they rely on the same wall console.
Some people will go in to their missions once the editor is back up and edit there missions, but these missions can not be edited because they are Spotlight missions. Also, what about the people who no longer play the game but have missions that are still played?
The Foundry door that was near Admiral Quinn's old office was just moved, why can't this one, the most used in the game, not be moved too?
Non-spotlight missions are able to be fixed now with a simple manual republish by the author. The editor is back and the publishing issue has been sorted. The console in question should now be in the conference room below Admiral Quinn's office.
We haven't heard back on spotlights. If they can't find an automatic fix they can do, I'm sure they'll hand them back to the authors to fix. That's what they did when a couple missions were broken by the Drozana update.
There's really not much that can be done for mission who's authors are no longer in the community. People should know that if they leave their missions up and quit the game, there is the chance that they could get broken in an update. It's not nice, but it's the reality of the process, unless down the line, Cryptic can streamline it to work better.
So the Transporter room wall console is the Door they were talking about in the patch notes? They should say Transporter Room door rather than Admiral Quinn's Office door (I thought it was that one door to the left of were Linnea used to sit?).
Whichever the case, these missions are still broken. People are mentioning the same thing in ESD Zone chat (Finally! They're talking about something other than US politics and homophobic and/or racist comments!).
I don't recall having to republish my mission from Drozana when it was redone (The Tribble With Starfleet, KDF, if you're interested, still a bit of a work in progress), But maybe they could do some sort of mass auto republish?

It wasn't every mission on Drozana that was affected, but I know soriedem's spotlight had a door issue after the update. They took it down, let him choose a new door, and put it back up.
Anyway, the console outside the transporter room is now in the conference room, the door to the left of where Linnea used to sit is now in the Bridge Officer office right by the conference room. Both need a manual republish. The automatic republish didn't do the trick (they tried a second one but no dice). My mission was set to the door next to Linnea, never did work after either auto-republish. I republished last night with it set to a different ESD door, not cause of the technical issue though.
Unfortunately not every author checks the forums so they may not know they need to do this. If you can spread the word in zone chat when this comes up, maybe we can get more people to go in and republish.
The Transporter Console is now the wall monitor in the Conference room, on the lower floor of Ops.
This is true for all of the UGC objects/contacts/doors from the old ESD. However, moving objects between maps seems to have confused the system, and so they don't recognize the new objects. Republishing seemed to fix this on our internal test. But automatic replublishing hasn't seemed to fix it. We believe a manual replublish will fix it, but publishing seems to be broken at the moment. Cryptic Frost is looking into it last I heard.
There is a method by which spotlighted missions can be updated. Once we have the rest working, I'm sure Spotlights will be taken care of.
Edit: Drogyn's on it.
Drogyn, you've been able to manually republish now? (just curious)

I was able to publish last night, it seemed to be hit or miss for everyone (more miss than hit really). jfinderdev posted a little bit ago in the bug report thread that publishing has been fixed. Hypnosnake, who was experiencing the publishing bug last night, said his have now gone through.
Good news. Thanks.
I'd love to hear from anyone who's mission was connected to the Transporter Wall Console, was having issues with the new ESD's monitor, didn't change doors, and if they were able to republish, and if that fixed the connection.

I have come to learn that internal testing and live setup are two entirely different kettles of trout...
Murphy's laws:
1- Murphy’s Law tells us that anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
2- And anything that does go wrong will get progressively worse.
3- And if you survive the first two laws it’s time to panic.

Manually republished five missions. All used the same door on the Old ESD. All now start from the same "transplanted" door on the New ESD. All is well.
So, I'm playing the spotlight mission 'One Too Many', and it says that I should go to the 'Door in the hall; Between the Exchange and Requisitions', which I have done - it leads out towards the Starfleet Academy Shuttlebay... but I cant seem to progress in the level.
I would be grateful if someone could outline where I should actually be going, and/or if it could be fixed...

This mission was probably spotlighted before new ESD, and since spotlights can't be edited, the description of the location hasn't been changed to fit new ESD. There's a chart somewhere which shows where the appropriate doors are now, but I think it only describes their old locations using their previous Foundry ID, so it might not be much help to you.
I am NikkoJT, Foundry author and terrible player. Follow me!
There used to be a picture here, but they changed signatures and I can't be bothered to replace it.

Thanks. I did a quick google search, to no avail. Do you have a link to the chart?
well, the farm missions I like to use are all working again...so I'm happy. promptly donated half of today's haul to my fleet.
....I literally have no use for the credits at the moment, all my ships are maxxed hardware wise.

I guess they could not find a more obscure place to hide that ... .
Yeah , and how many authors have no clue that the introduction of the new ESD has [REDACTED] their missions ?
... if there ever was an issue to send an all-toon's-ingame mail about , this would be one of them ...
... the other would be an instruction manual to the new kit system ...
