Granted, we have less active traits now, but in "The Breach" I am having the most difficulty I've ever had in this Voth STF. Weapon Platforms on the Voth city ship were crazy before, but now, it's even crazier, one shot kills, no chance to go in and take out the platforms at all, the entire team dies all at once, or too fast. Something there is doing way more damage than before.
In general, it seems enemies are doing a lot more damage than they were before, one shots, everyone dying, a lot, much faster than before.
I have done hundreds and hundreds of runs prior to S9 and I can definitely tell there is a big difference, it's bad Cryptic. I use to get NO injuries before, now I end up with a long list of injuries on my ship. It is way different, something is wrong. Please Cryptic, fix this STF. It's really the only valid Voth STF since Storming the Spire is so boring and rewards less.
The enemies died just as fast as before, they just were able to hit a lot harder.
It may need to be nerfed from it's current state, but not by much.
Pre-S9 it was a bit to easy for elite.
It took time, but a well build ship never had much difficulty surviving.
Yesterday I found I needed to stay close to my team mates to throw out heals and get them, as well.
We all died a couple of times at least, but mostly when we let our guard down and split up.
It was not like we were overwhelmed, but the NPCs were on equal footing damage-wise.
The weapon platforms are tough and take you down fast if you are not specced into tanking really well.
I think, they should stay that way.
Don't try to dive right into their crossfire...
Attack then from the flank, where some of them are still out if range. And lure the ship away to attack it when it is unprotected.
You can bypass the weapon platforms by just planting a hargh'peng on one turret and fly off. Upon it's detonation it will knock out the shield thingy and you can move on - but hargh'peng's aren't in a dps players arsenal, so maybe this slipped everyone's attention (It might be that this tactic doesn't work anymore, I haven't played the Voth STFs for a while, in that case I apologize to anyone who may have taken offense )
