Here's my situation: I have a few alternate accounts for Dil farming that are outside my main account. They have a significant amount of Dil processed over the months, but I can't seem to figure out how to transfer it over to my main account.
I already know the method of putting Dil up at 25 Dil for 25 Z and then cancelling the transaction on the recipient character on the same account, but as I said, these are toons on a totally different account. That method isn't valid in this circumstance.
I think that u can sell at dil amount cap (250:1 or 500:1 ... didnt remember).
Doing so u're sure that you're transaction willn't be acquired by another player, because it's incredibly expensive (in dil term, for Zen seller this is best transaction in the world:D)
Problem: u need Zen, even if in small amount (with 500:1 for 50,000 dil u need 100 Zen)
dont need to i get enough money from ssi to buy mostly any thing i want exception being the bug ship can only fork out 300+ maybe one 2 times a year
but also wow does make phony sites to catch people same could be said about cryptic maybe they happen to one of them?
The number 1 thing to always remember, that seems to escape alot of people: This is not WoW... Never has been... Heck, it's not even Blizzard...
One thing that is for sure, is that it's relatively easy to find the common patterns between the "gold sellers":
Lots of accounts from the same PC (Yes... The EULA you signed actually permits Cryptic and PWE to monitor what goes in and out of your RAM... This includes the MAC address and several other features that indicate hardware uniqueness).
Lots of characters from the same PC that do the same work over and over again (fastest ways to get EC).
Lots of similar transfers from said accounts (amounts sold).
Lots of similar transfers from multiple accounts.
Now the average player does not tranfer say... 100,000 EC 20-30 times a day... And it's really just a matter of pattern recognition software and knowing what you want to recognize.
From there, it's just flagging an account for employee review.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

If it's one account selling 1,000,000,000 over a period of 2 days or 1,000 accounts selling 1,000,000 over the same 2 days, the pattern is clearly recognizeable in a log.
We do the same when preventing attacks on servers when making webpages... Look for the tiny but similar requests/data transfers and block them out when they are clearly designed to attack.
It's not rocket science.

well not seen a game that banned IP only the account you must have to really do something bad for that maybe hack in to the game?
The IP refresh is to remove eyes from the IP you were originally banned from...
After all: If a black sedan was used in the robbery, police asks you to keep any eye out for a black sedan... Not a red Stationcar.
Again: This is not new to me... I know how those who try to stop abuse work, since I am one of those who had to deal with the issue (on webpages, not online gaming).
Once we figure out a specific IP, we obviously keep an eye out for that address even though we know that people just refresh them.

I did'n suspect you did... In fact it came off as you thought these people were dumb (and they are IMO... both those that sell and buy).
But they do exist...
The before mentioned fleet member wrote on facebook and told me that he finally bought the Jemmy bug, and that he spend real money to buy EC to be able to afford it.
2 days later he writes me again, telling that his account had been banned.

It's an "okay" system for the seller - he has to jump through hoops to make the EC and get new accounts, but when someone pays him real money, he gets to keepit, while the guy paying him will probably lose the account (including his EC) and can't ask for his money back.
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.
He's not accusing you personally of any thing. But your question if there were an easy answer would open the floodgates for gold sellers to sell Dilithium. Selling EC is kind of bad already but it is so easy to come by in this game I didn't think anyone had need to even do such a thing.
How much the devs have cut back on how to earn Dilithium though, gold sellers would go into overdrive if they could do what your thread is asking.

No offense, but your 'before mentioned fleet member' is a moron. I often spend RL to get EC... simply by buying lockbox keys with Zen, and then selling off the keys (they're doing real well these days).
You really have to be a special kind of 'special' to go buy EC off a gold farmer, and risk almost certain banishment, whilst there's a perfectly legit and encouraged way to do it in-game.
These sellers also often require your credit card info to complete the transaction, so they can then use that to commit credit card fraud and identity theft.

but I suppose you already thought of that and dont want to do the last stage
Do it 25 to 1 put in amount u want to transfer.
Cancel offer but dont withdraw.
swap to toon u want to put dil on.
Withdraw it and boom all dil on one toon.
Simples.
And if you forget to cancel offer and it sells well ur rolling in zen at that price so not a big loss either.
That only works on the same account, the OP is asking about transfering it to a different account.
Im not sure this will go well with Cryptic.

Tell that to the fleet mate I had who got his account banned less than 10 mins after he got his EC transfer.
But hey... I encourage you to try... This should be fun.
Probably not what you were looking for...

I don't know if this actually works, but I saw the spam messages. Someone sure claims you can do it.
It just doesn't seem something I'd want to lose my account and lifetime subscription over.

All sounds a mite too fishy for me.
Thats the problem with a F2P system: "oh, my account got banned... Refresh IP, create a new".

Are you accusing me of being a seller?
