Tie Trait Loadouts to Costume Slot

I have a whole bunch of directions I'd go with this, including eventual species respecs BY COSTUME SLOT, which makes species more like ships and would allow BO trait revamp.

But this could also allow for certain special costumes to grant certain traits.

And it could be an organic way to handle things like Risian swimwear or offduty outfits if the traits available reflect the type of clothing. So when wearing swimwear, you don't get any combat traits active. When wearing offduty wear, you could probably still have your combat traits available but focus on trait loadouts that provide things like discounts at non-faction vendors (whereas uniforms might provide traits for a boost with faction vendors).

This could also allow for content that varies based on the type of costume you have equipped.

Personally I don't think there should be any restrictions at all, but I am not against this idea as a meta thing.

I flick between costumes on a whim too much to be for this idea, but it is interesting.

sounds interesting, but why overcomplicate things that don't need to, when tweeking more code, opens opportunity for more bugs ?

there's bugs introduced with previous expansions that haven't been fixed.

linking theTrait Loadouts to Costume Slot is a unnecessary complication, that could possibly carry new bugs without bringing advantages for the player or game bug team.

and besides, having restrictions, is a bad idea in most cases. over complication is unnecessary.

the good old rule K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple S.) is always useful when doing work and implementing it.

I have to agree with Nazelnag -- while it sounds a bit interesting, I think overall, it's an unnecessary complication. I can see where, at times, it could be a neat system, but I'm quite certain at other times it would be an unwanted restriction that would cramp the playstyle for any number of players. Keeping things open and 'un-linked' as they are now is a better system in the long run, IMO.
    Live long, and prosper.

I'd rather just have a separate ground loadout feature (that works please, no more half-baked broken features).
