first a kudo's to the cryptic team I don't think you get this enough. I thoroughly waste way to much time and have plans to continue to do so.

now one issue that frustrates both the production team and the player base are bugs.

they get reported by hundreds maybe 1000's and repeated ad nauseam.

but a system to acknowledged so we know its been reported properly. and not repeated.

    Wouldn't matter. Even if they put say mantis or any type of bug tracker into the website people would still post without searching (as it's evident in the bug report forum now).

    In general, people would rather post than take the 20-30 seconds it would take to do a quick keyword search. :(

    I wish the search function in the bug reporter actually worked but it hasn't for years. Zero once said they could make it work but it would require a lot of effort. It has functions for 'I have this bug too' and add additional info to an existing bug but we can't use them.
