No bugs. They are simply available again and the price drop reflects the increase in supply.

they are lol? didn't even knew that.

Also they kind of lost their point. The thing about them was being able to switch between ships with them. That is now available free for everyone.

Point was they could do things you'd have to be at some port to do. Not sure being able to switch to a crappy ship was that high on people's reasons to get it. :D

Gonna have to keep my eye on this. If they drop to 2mill, gonna have to pounce on one for my civillian toon.

Your civilian toon flies a Federation starship? Time to send a priority one communicae to the Starfleet regulatory commission that a civi is hot rodding around the galaxy in military grade hardware.

True. The only appeal now is for those that want a civilian ship to fly around in.

Lol. She flies a scavanged NX class with mkiii gear. Hardly top of the range military grade. Mainly used for dilithium farming/mining, doffing and rp'ing.

If I could be bothered to, I'd link to a picture of Picard doing his double face palm thing.:P

It makes me so sad to see people dismiss the value of a tuffli so easily. A ship to help quickly swap to other ships.... a civiliian ship for RP... :(

Tuffli can provide a level of logistical support (doffing, bank, exchange access, mail, commodities at low price) for alt accounts that makes it invaluable to me and others that own them, do not dismiss its value so easily.:)

Oh I'm not dismissing it's value purely as an rp ship. That alt usually handles such matters and transfers them to my other characters, so it would be beneficial to her. If it was purely for rp purposes, I wouldn't bother.

What exactly does freefall mean? at one point they could be bought for $15 mill - then for $150 mill

In this situation it means rapidly declining prices because no one is buying the ships at the higher prices.

Well it has almost no value now - rep system no longer requires materials and starbase contruction has slowed down massively compared to when they came out.

They've fallen from 150 to about 50 so far. And will probably keep going down, though probably not as low as before.

We can swap ships without a Tuffli or a cell ship, and a cell ship is more useful than a Tuffli for logistical support (doffing, bank, exchange access, mail, commodities at low price) since the cell ship offers services the tuffli doesn't.

It's an overpriced poor man's cell ship.

I'd take a Tuffli over a Cell ship any day.

As someone who has characters in all the factions, I can tell you that having actual NPCs to speak to for assignments is an advantage over the cell ship for my Romulan characters.

Say my KDF Tuffli captain alt sees a mission in Eta Eridani under the tactical department head that is good XP and CXP, my Rom-KDF will not be able to see that mission via the bridge console, they will get different assignments presented to them and would need to speak to the tactical NPC aboard the Tuffli to see what the Tuffli owner sees under their tactical department head. That is something you cannot do with the Cell ship.:)

Simply put, as someone who likes to doff and has Romulan characters, the Tuffli is superior to the Cell ship. I suppose it is a case by case basis for which ship is better, but that's my opinion and I understand that if you prefer the Cell ship, then that is your choice.

Granted each ship has its uses for different people, I was merely stating that the Tuffli should not be dismissed as a useless ship so quickly.:)

What does the cell ship do that the tuffli doesn't? I've only been on a tuffli once before, and never on a cell ship, so I'm very unfamiliar with them.

Cell ship is compact, so a lot less time running around to get to the bank and mail etc and has unique doff assignments that let you obtain Suliban doffs.

Tuffli as I said above has the NPC contacts to speak to which is an advantage to a doffer who has Romulan alts (assuming the Tuffli is used on an alt account to support a main account). If they ever fix the issue of Romulans getting different assignments presented via the bridge console compared to what the Tuffli owner sees, then the Cell ship will hands down be superior to the Tuffli.

In most cases the Cell ship is probably going to be considered the better ship, but the Tuffli does have its selling points when compared to a Cell ship. For now anyways. :)

Would you rather like a minesweeper, aircraft carrier or stealth ship? :D

I'd like to note that the Very Rare Engineering DOff (buffs RSP) I got from the Cell ship sold for 6 million within 24 hours. Makes me think I under-priced him.
