Yes, very fun. Think of it as a tactical Galor

Not for a Tac Rom, no. You'd be better off with the S'golth.

Of course, you'd be much better off with a ship that takes advantage of Romulans' innate traits.

Its a nice ship, solid turn rate and decent officer layout, all with (IMHO) a cool looking platform. Durable enough to survive the return fire that you are sure to draw as a tactical rom with a bunch of crit....

I have mixed feelings about using a non rom ship. You still have your SRO officers, so you can still get more dps out of most ships. And cloaking strikes are not the only way to fight, but a tactical captain gets more from cloak than the other types. Losing singularity powers is a wash; they are nice but this ship is a tank so you don't "require" the defensive powers and the offensive weapon boost is just a few shots every once in a great while AND it locks out other skills, so its not a "must have".

So really what you lose the most is your cloaked alpha.

It *may* fit better on other captain types if you have more characters.

am old locbox ship is probably far out of my price range. the lobi ships tend to be fairly cheap

The S'golth was the cheapest when I last checked, at 60 or so million EC. No other Lockbox/Lobi ship was cheaper.

Besides, I was referring to any of the Romulan C-Store ships, mostly the Scimitar, T'varo Retro or Ar'Kif Retro.

If you're KDF, get four FSMs and buy the Fleet Tor'kaht. More or less the same stats as the Monbosh, plus a cloak, plus a multitude of skin/part options to choose from (buy the Vor'kang and Mirror Vor'cha to unlock more).

my rommie will be KDF allied but she can't buy kdf fleet ships, only romulan fleet ships
