Fleet Kit Modules are not bound?

ddesjardinsddesjardins Member Posts: 3,056 Media Corps
Fleet Kit Modules, VR XII, both assault and strategic types are not bound when purchased.

It says bind on equip.

Methinks this will not last long?

Still wrapping my head around the changes to kit, but as of right now, I am very very happy. If these can be sold on the exchange, I see a really decent aftermarket.

Yeah I noticed this too and tried to put a Fleet Kit Module on the Exchange and it accepted it...and sold O_o. However, I tried searching for Fleet Kit Modules just now and they don't show up on the search but you can still place it on the exchange.

Despite my test actually working I don't think Fleet Gear should be able to be sold on Exchange, including the Fleet Kit Modules.

Please Cryptic make these bound on pick-up or a whole other dichotomy will be opening up in the game that isn't quite fair.

Hehe they'll probably do it without me having to post it anyway. Hey it was interesting selling a piece of fleet gear on exchange. But somehow it felt wrong...didn't mean I didn't do it though :D

No if they do it it will all be your fault and you should feel shame for it :D

I do see what you mean on the exchange, that to me seems wrong too. To alts though I see no problem if you have donated to the fleet, it can help them along while they earn the promotions, depending on the fleet, and to get the credits.

Hit up the Dilithium Store for VR Mk IX modules. Anything more comes from ground drops or fleet stores.

Yesterday I got Mk X from a console on K7.

Yup, they double stealth nerfed it. First, yesterday, by making them not show up in exchange search results after they found out about it (just like they did when they screwed up the Gold lockboxes more than a year ago by making them unbound), and second in today's patch by making them bind to character on pickup now instead of bind to account on equip. Of course they'd never publicly admit their mistakes if it benefits the player.

le sigh. Oh well I transferred a few over to my other fleet-credit-deprived characters from my main that has bucketloads last night.
