With the changes to the graphics setting, I can no longer get sharp vibrant colors...everything looks faded and washed out...even when I adjust the brightness it just gets lighter or darker but that doesn't help...I can't find a way to adjust the contrast...can anyone help?
There is about as much water on Earth now as there was three billion years ago. But while the amount of water has remained static, the amount of tequila and Triple Sec available for the making of Margaritas has expanded enormously. So you see, we have made progress after all. ~Anonymous

I dunno if it'll help, but mightybob did a great break down of where everything went with a nice image -

Yeah, it's not so much a case of finding the settings as it is a case that the settings do not produce what one might have had previously. mightybob's image could be handy for some, no doubt it's appreciated, but to me everything looks like chunky plastic compared to the smooth metal that it was previously.
I even asked on Tribble if the system requirements were going to be increased...this looks far worse than it did for me even on Tribble where it was fugly - this is beyond fugly.
Oh well, back to seeing if there's some combination that shouldn't work that ends up working to make it something I can even stomach looking at...
edit: Was able to get partially there with the brightness, but it's just made it easier to see how plastic everything looks instead of metallic. I mean like a dull plastic, like an old cereal bowl that's been scrubbed. Yesterday was awesome, today it's like looking at a toddler's toys.

Actually, I tried these settings and it made it worse...my entire view when moving is herky-jerky, and I don't know which change caused it...now I'm really stuck..

For the life of me I can't figure out why they had to TRIBBLE with the graphics settings...I can't get anywhere near the picture that I used to have...

The colors are just too bright, and it doesnt help to reduce the brightness, since it makes everythng darker and that is not what i want. What i want is to be able to change the contrast.
You just need to go to nimbus. The colors of the desert hurt the eyes. Never happened before.
If i deactivate the postprocessing, it doesnt hurt the eyes anymore, but the excessive light goes off but i cant almost see anything..
There is NOTHING in the graphic options to fix this.
Seriously, what the hell did you do cryptic.. sigh.
Well, I fiddled around with the controls and it's somewhat better, but darned if I know what I did otherwise I would pass it on...

I should have snagged some screen shots of Step Between. That one was seriously borked for me graphically. the sun was blurry where as before it had been nice and crisp.
A Trill, a Gorn, a Jem'Hadar, Bejoran and a Voth walk into a bar, and the Bartender asks "What is this a Joke?"
"Nope, just my away team" the trill replies before ordering a round for the bar.
