    So my Fed / KDF toons were promoted from cadet / warrior to Vice Admiral / Lieutenant General in a span of one years?


    Man.... the Federation and Klingon military are really desperate....

    I saved Earth and Qo'noS on the same day, Kirk nor Picard did that....I earned my rank.

    Yeah, 2409 was a very busy year for me... I left the Academy and I'm a Vice Admiral now. Hell, I'm better than Kirk himself! :)

    Just think folks. In another 9 seasons and 1 expansion we can be in 2411!

    Sorry to interject here but I am a little confused. Where is the notification that it is now 2410? I thought it would be in the FE but I didn't see it.

    Where did I miss it?

    The current year is displayed during the new FE.
    My old (and now mostly obsolete) exploration suggestions thread. Give it a read. :)

    That's in an Earth year. However, Iconia has 9 seasons a year. Therefore... STO operates on an Iconian calendar.

    Yep... also look how many ships were developed, tested, built, fielded, made obsolete, rebuilt, and remade obsolute in the span of one year.

    I mean the number of ships the Federation alone tested, fielded and got rid of in this one year is more then they fielded in their entire history.

    Okay maybe not... but it's darn close!

    that would be boring to me. And I hope VA is as high as I go, or they redo the ranks, don't want to be tied to a desk so early in my career. I want to sit in the hot seat a tad longer.
