Revamps for Lockboxes are getting old

We had a massive captain trait revamp long ago and one of the goals was to open the system up allowing new traits to be created. And so far aside from the minor traits which act similar to the old accolades, have not seen any outside of lockboxes.

And now we are seeing the same with ground abilities post kit revamp. Ugh.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with neat shinies in lockboxes nor do I need help on how to acquire them without spending large sums of money. I am just getting tired of the majority of new 'systems content' all being in those boxes.

Will we ever see new boff abilities created? Kit modules that aren't from a lockbox? New traits not in a lockbox?

The ship release balance is pretty good a few in the boxes a few in the Cstore. Same with equipment, it has a pretty good split between reputation, fleet, and lockboxes. I just want traits, and in the future kit modules, to be in places other than lockboxes.

    Those who complete the mission will earn their choice of a variety of rewards which will assist players in playing the Season 9 content! These rewards include new traits for space and ground specific to fighting the Undine, profession-specific Counter-Command kits, and a Counter-Command Tactical Console. The kits and tactical console may be claimed by all captains, but can be used by lvl 50 captains only. The new traits can be used by captains of any level.

    It would appear they have plans to drop out things in a variety of ways...

    I agree hopefully they get it in their heads to stop doing this mess. I think people are getting tired of it.

    Frankly I am and I don't even spend on those things. The reason why I'm tired of it is A: I'm tired of filling up the bank with boxes B: Tired of consoles being put out that should be the new science skills (or revamped science skills when they actually get around to fixing what's already there for a change).

    FIX THE GAME PLEASE. I wonder if they'll still have this terrible texture bug still in the game for the next first half of this season because they were too busy putting in new science consoles that should be skills.

    A) Stop putting boxes in your bank, that's stupid. Discard them.

    B) I agree, but it's their primary source of income and they aren't going to stop milking the cash cow any time soon.
