Another Miner DOFF question...

Looking at the Duty Officers offered for sale in the fleet mine, I see there is only one Tier 3 Doff with all the critical attributes - forgive my noobness but I haven't paid as close attention as I should to how much it matters if a Doff meets just one, or more than one, of these attributes - I assume there's some percentage success gain?

Also, am I better off then buying some non Miners exactly matching all 3 critical attributes from elsewhere or picking up Miners with only two?

(I assume I can only buy each Miner Doff once like at the faction Duty Officer Store?)

With attributes i suposse yo mean traits, yeah if you put ANY doff with the correct traits, there is more chance of a CRITICAL success. But in the case of miners, they are a bit caped (something that i never will understand) and the critical rate will not raise as much as other assignments. My advise is, dont buy purple miners, if you going to buy some of em, buy blue ones (rare) , since the purple ones are terrible expensive and they will not grant you more success than the blue ones.

Success is useless: Crits or GTFO. Since crit will not increase very much with the addition of only one miner that can be slotted to do the job, and random purple Suliban are already 2-crit, the miners just aren't worth it.

So you'd go with purple Sulibans rather than miners, even if they only have two of the required traits, to maximize crits?

Thats funny since i get the same crit chance using fleet miners or sullibans. lol.

This. This is how most doffing in STO works. Success cannibalizes Crit, so you ignore success traits and go all-out on crit traits.
