Tribble just revealed that late in May there will be a shuttle weekend with a ton of new shuttle PVEs including Shuttle No Win Scenario, Shuttle Fleet Alert and so one with bonus rewards.
They really need to add the feature to the Foundry that would let them assign the missions as EV suits or small craft. Since they're obviously not going to do much with it, they might as well let the fans make content for it.
I would love to get something nicer for the small crafts, but with the rate Cryptic is at it, it's not going to happen anytime soon, and if it did, it probably wouldn't be all that great.
Edit: HA, starkaos beat me to it! It was a terrible mission and not a fun Queued event, but it's an interesting concept to allow for a small craft "dogfight" arena.

Also, don't forget the atmospheric assault or what ever it's called. It was a terrible mission and not a fun Queued event, but it's an interesting concept to allow for a small craft "dogfight" arena.
I just cant believe some people like to fly in a shuttle.. lol. Its like flying a spot in the space from whrer a lot of fireworks (weapons) are fired. I never liked to fly a ship that fires bigger projectiles than the ship itself lol. Too bad cryptic didnt even work on this matter harder when they created weapons and shuttles.
the shuttle event was leaked earlier. the Holodeck calendar mentioned it after the mirror event, but it was switched out for the Junor Officer event we had last week.
Everywhere I look, people are screaming about how bad Cryptic is.
What's my position?
That people should know what they're screaming about!

Because this makes no sense at all. A small ship can be more maneouverable, but not faster.
Sure it can--it's a matter of the ratio of engine power to warp field size. Smaller ships tend to have a larger percentage of their mass devoted to the warp core and nacelles--we see that larger Star Trek ships tend to spend their extra size on more armor and interior space. The warp core of a Defiant, or even of a Runabout, is larger in proportion to the total ship mass than say, the warp core of a Galaxy class. If sheer engine power were more important than power-to-mass ratio, then the Airbus 380 ought to be faster than most jet fighters.

if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.
Two missions actually.
The Vault, and that one in the jemmy fe arc.
Definitely could use a few more though.
TRIBBLE Hydra! Hail Janeway!

Read my post from earlier.

Oh, nice! It actually on Tribble or is it something they mentioned as coming soon?
Weekend event at the end of May. Its in the Calendar only. But they specifically mentioned new missions (including the two I mention by name)
TRIBBLE Hydra! Hail Janeway!
I might actually have to go through and pimp out a few shuttles for my alts now...
They were fast and manuverable in sector space, and some of the larger ships weren't... That made people cry, so they changed it.
