Where's Troi's mom?

STO Diplomatic corps? I would expect Lwoxanna to run this **** by now. She's easily the coolest ST character ever... Aside from Morn, but who can compete with that silver tongued space diglet?

Seriously, why is LWOXANNA not in this game? She'd be like, 80 by now. She could easily still be alive.

Out of respect to the late Majel Barrett-Roddenberry, I don't think she'll make an appearance.

Yeah, I think it's pretty safe to assume the character is no-go at this point.

Shes gone? Oh no. Oh that sucks. She was so awesome. Well, out of respect, I'd like a statue erected in her honor on BETAZED. She deserves the tribute.

Yeah, this is unlikely on account of her being dead. :(

We already have Scotty and Bones in the game and their actors are no longer with us. So I doubt it is due to respect, but needing a proper story to add her character in.

That was before STO had a lot of voice acting though.

It just would not be right to have her in with another person.

While I agree that having her in game doesn't feel right, does anyone know if she's turns up in the road to 2409?

She was also the Nurse on TOS and all of the Federation Computer Voices. So she could be a Medical or Ops type. Or.... Combo Type.

Considering how Majel was in every movie, and every series that Trek ever had, I am certain you could produce Lwaxana Troi. IMO Cryptic are great custodians of Trek ethos in a pre-utopian society that still runs on currency. All you have to do is listen to Gecko and others, and you can tell they would due her justice, and I think she would have loved nothing more then to be portrayed as a loveable sarcastic helicopter mom which in this day in age is a luxury to have so a caring dedicated parent with a sense of humor and a touch of class.

Also I really hope they get her voice for some computer work in game too.

Watch "Dark Page", one of the few good TNG season 7 episodes. It explains everything about her: why she was always so ridiculously flirty, why she always acted so childish, why she adored Worf's son Alexander and indulged him so much, and why she was so protective of Deanna.

Suddenly it will become much easier to love Lwaxana.

I personally thought while annoying she was the funny kind of annoying. Watching Picard spout poetry to get her back = priceless.

She died one day after having seen the 2009 movie. Where she, btw, contributed her voice for the last time as Jellyfish computer.

based in part on Majel's age at the time of the show, she was around.. 1987 - 1932 = 55 years of age. in trek there was a reference to Betazoid females at middle age being more shall we say frisky as a biological factor and Lwaxana was directly mentioned to that effect. anyways, if there had been a trek series with her in it these days and she didnt die of blood cancer back in 08, she would be 82 years, so yes.

if your asking for her character to be put on the show like Montgomery Scott, it's possible but unlikely as Eugene Roddenberry jr. is the only one who can allow PWE to put her likeness in the game and i would say he would have too much respect for his mother to allow such a thing to happen.

so now it's best to let the dead rest in peace if you dont mind?

it was the best episode she ever did on trek, to be honest its one of the best episodes on trek period. im usually devoid of emotion all the time in real life but this one gets to me every time. agreed, her best by a mile.
