Hi everyone. I currently have a fleet Mogh. I really like it. However I am always in the market for a new ship.

I saw a Youtube vid on the Guramba. I love the animations and that weapon looked awesome. So I am wondering how is the DPS vs the Mogh given that they were equally equipped.

So what is you guys thoughts on the Guramba? It looks fun to fly. But does it put out good damage? I

Also the c-store claims that the Bortasq Tactical's autocannon is the most powerful weapon in the flee. Is this true?

Well, you named the three ships i am in progress to gather.. lol. Actually i have the Mogh already (just the c-store version) and i plan to adquire next , the Bortasqu bundle or the Guramba.

While the Mogh and the Guramba are more oriented to direct attacks, using cannons mostly (the Mogh is a real Beast using DHcs) and fast all around movements, the Bortasqu is a pure tank really slow. But i love it, since i think is one of the desings in where the devs put more work, and it really feels like a moving space station..

I think the autocannon of the Bortasqu is only worthy if you buy the 3 console set, but im not sure.

And as you, i love the style and effects of the Guramba, and the lance :)

have the Garumba and Tac Bort. Love both.

    Garumba is an escort
Bortasqu is a cruiser, whatever youd rather play.

I found the Autocannon on the Bortasqu fun, but better consoles to stick in that spot. Couldn't imagine wasting 3 console spots for the Bortas set. lol

And if the Garumba ever gets a fleet version I will upgrade. For an escort style ship, man its cool. lol

The Bortasqu autocannon needs 2 of the 3 consoles to be most effective. I usually pair with the BoP for a little more fun. Having a snare like tractor beams especially shield draining doff ones is a good thing. The snare console is the weakest of the set. As for OP about damage, it can hit hard, but to niche to be effective. That is the sad truth, but I love it and use them to this day. In the end it is a big ship finishing move for things like Borg cubes/matrix or some TRIBBLE end bosses.

I love my garumba, the lace alone makes it worth the buy, its pretty fast and has plenty of survivability, dont have the others so cant give an oppinion, one thing to note (not sure its still current) BO seems to boost the lance, not sure its deliberate but i read it on the wiki and tried it, hey presto it worked.

Well, first thing's first - have you played as the Federation and gotten the Avenger or the Odyssey? That's what the Mogh and Bortasqu are, except they cloak and have different weapons to them. The Guramba is EASILY what the Federation's Dreadnought Cruiser wants to be.

...and now that I've seen it in action, this is certainly gonna be my first KDF purchase, because O.M.G.

Got to admit, I am loving my little Vandal which got me looking at the Guramba. After watcing the youtube videos, the Guramba really looks like a super fun ship though it seems to get short changed without a Fleet version.

I mean the Guramba and the standard Mogh pretty much look comparable in fun factor and performance even thought they are very different, However the fact you can actually aquire a Fleet Mogh seems to make Mogh be the stand out winner for the investment of $25.

Still, the Mogh, while probably the better investment, definately doesn't have the Wow factor the Guramba has and lets face it, while blowing up stuff is always nice, looking good while doing it is always a bonus.
