Pre-made uniforms

Has there been any indication that we will be able to save our own (preferable account-wide) preset uniforms to the dropdown menu in the future?

What do you mean? In the tailor there is a "Save Outfit" button, which saves it to your HDD. You can then hit "Load Outfit" on another character. There is also an option to just load the head features.
Member since November 2009... I think.

You can already do this, just use the save outfit button. If you want to using it on another race, use the "Load only uniform" button.

Does it work for both genders and all races? Every time I try it will only load on the race/gender it was originally created for.

Kinda makes the 'save outfit' useless as a premade time-saver.

No, you cannot save premade uniforms. What you can save is an entire appearance of a character which will overwrite the appearance of your other ones and only works for a single gender of a single race.

Try getting uniforms consistent that way and you'll have to redo everything about every character and save a separate one for every species and gender.

Yes actually you can. When you save it you bring up a new character, and you click on "Load outfit only". Bam done. Though you won't have the rank that the outfit is saved with but, you'll have the outift.

I do it all the time.

Depends on the outfit since some are female only like T'Pol's or 7of9's outfits. But standard uniforms, works like a charm.

I've been using the feature for the last two weeks, replacing old/white Boffs with purples. It works. I've also used it to give a boff one of my character's uniforms. Different race, different body type, the 'just outfit' tickbox covers that.

I tried a TNG movie uniform on a human male, it only worked on other human males. It never even shows up on others.

Maybe it's just a problem with my game, but it never worked like the LoR premades for me.

So they said, though I still need 1 for every race and gender in my game.

saving or loading outfits never work for me.

The game Always removes all extras added, hairstyle goes bald, and skin color usually changes aswell.

Completely broken for me 99% of the time.
The same thing happens when i try to modify an outfit.

Lets say i created an outfit using honor guard parts, i take a while make it all nicely colored etc.

Okay im done! i exit, save the outfit and close the tailor..

Now whenever i go back into the tailer, as soon as i hit modify all values reset to some sort of basic setting.

This whole game is trash in so many ways.

And yes i stopped being a gold member as of today.
To many bugs and errors for a game thats 4 years old, ridiculous.

Just to FYI ... Some of them are bugged, hence the "bald" characters ... And some are dependent on either C-Store purchases or, in the case of Roms, Alignment specific.

It will mostly only load a generic "shirt simple" if you save an outfit that uses parts from a "purchased" outfit, and Rom BoFF's ALWAYS (though incorrectly) take on the alignment of their first Captain.
If that was you, then they will have YOUR alignment uniform, if they we bought off of the Exchange, they 'could' have the opposite alignment, which means a saved "Romulan Klingon 1" outfit part won't load on a "Romulan Federation" tagged BoFF, and currently their is no way to tell them apart.
Oh, hoho hohhhhh, Oh,, hoho, hohhhhh
