Sitting there at whatever your favorite social zone is, signing up for the same five missions everyone only does. Over and over and over again......... So much for exploration.
*sigh*
I mean, the Voth space zone isn't super exciting, a lot of the missions are repetitive, it's way to easy to loose the battle zones if there aren't that many people, but at least it's different every time I go there. With STF's and other queue based missions....
Why do you people want more of them? I don't get the logic! So boring!!!!

I like the battle zone for the same reason; it is dynamic depending on how many people there are and how they're doing their things. Plus, it's a 2 for 1 kind of deal for Cryptic; get both a social zone AND an adventure zone for the work of one! Not to mention that qued events are uber rigid and don't allow much wiggle room for creativity and imagination; ie multiple strategies for multiple scenarios.
The new Borg episodes will no longer contain State of Q! All the Q's have been removed from the storyline and dailies!
Ow, those queues.
Although I was not around when STFs were non-queued, I do remember flying to Starbase 29 for that Fleet Action. I loved getting there. I also remember going to Terradome, but at a certain point I decided to not even touch that one with a 10 meter stick.
I do like the feeling of meeting up ingame for teaming up and then engaging. Would bring function to fleet starbases other than stores, and would get people more often "out there". And yes, I'm liking this not in a small part since I fly an Excelsior anyway.
I'd like to know why hardly anybody plays mine trap anymore?
I love that pve, good fun and a welcome change to the other grinds for rom marks, but the wait to play this can be endless sometimes.
Its the same across the board for many more, especially klinkside aside from the main conduit, crystal, nebula etc etc

I stopped playing in the public queue because I got tired of dealing with stupid people who leave areas undefended or go AFK. It's a fun mission, but like everything else in this game, stupid people and AFKers ruin it.
Yes! The afk thing was a problem, but I've found not so much recently (aside from the mirror event).
Its just one of those pves where I don't overly mind doing badly so much, if I'm the only one in an area I know I'm going to do badly but hell I know its going to be fun going from energy to melee weapons defending a building against almost endless hordes (in a rough pug) can be awesome. Then leading the survivors...I digress.
Maybe I haven't had enough chances to play this one outside its novelty phase.

I started playing back in July of last year. Even when the hourly events were here, it took a while to queue for it till the bonus marks event time came around. Since they took the hourly events away, it has been pretty dead till the bonus marks weekend grind comes around. During the last bonus marks weekend grind, it was active again, and didn't take too long to queue for it.
If you wait till the next one, it should pick back up again. And when there are more players playing, you get less AFKers.

Mine trap fills up pretty decent to be honest. Not fast, but for a 20-man queue it is relatively fast and has good rewards if the teams know their stuff.
Breaking the planet however is a stf for which i hope the queue is cut in half (10 man instead of 20) and an increase in rewards to draw people in.
Breaking the planet is an awesome mission to play, but with the chokepoints near the bridges you need at least 4 competent players to break though (unlike The Big Dig and Klingon Scout Force which can be finished solo in under 1 hour).
As for klingon queues, that's because those lazy bumms have more efficient ways to get dilithium/gear than stfs.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Though now I've said that... I'm honestly not sure why I feel that way. I don't have the same impatience when it comes to dil grinding.
Perhaps you should follow your own advice if this is how you feel?

Never thought about it like that. That makes sense though.
I guess I get bored faster than most.
Heh, you and me both man.
It is the standard feeling that you need to have it now. Everyone gets it.

Depends on how good the Undine Zone is going to be.
Indeed.
