Nice real nice, here the blog part of it any ways,
"Undine Infiltration" is a mixed faction queued mission for level 50 characters. The event can be completed in 15 to 20 minutes, and has both a Normal and an Elite version.
During the mission, Captains will investigate Bajorans suspected of being Undine infiltrators in disguise. They will do this by asking a series of questions and based on the answers, deciding whether or not the suspect is an Undine and needs to be quarantined. If the investigator believes a suspect's story, he or she can also clear them from the investigation.
However, the Undine won't simply wait to be discovered. They'll be trying to disrupt the interrogations. So watch out for disturbances.
Later, the investigators' mission will take them into the caves below the city, where the Undine have established a base. Keep calm, and you'll be able to eliminate the Undine presence on Bajor.
Once the mission is complete, players will be scored based on how many Undine were correctly quarantined, and how many Bajorans were cleared of suspicion. Points will be lost if innocents are jailed or Undine infiltrators are allowed to escape. Players will earn an amount of either Undine or Fleet marks based on their final score.
Now my question, how the heck we must know what is wright and what is wrong, are we getting a crash course into the bajorans ??

I think they'll provide clues. For example "What do you think of the aliens in the wormhole ?" "They are just aliens, why should I care ?". That one is a really obvious example, but I'm giving you an idea on how it could work.
I don't think they will necessarily be related to lore, as not every player know it. It might be entirely ingame, a NPC tell you another one is blind, and yet he can see, and stuff like that. Or maybe they'll provide the lore ingame.
I don't think it will be random. I hope not.
Sadly, this mission will be the least pugable mission in STO, a single troll will just accuse everyone and this will be really annoying. And you can't carry anything.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
But to be honest from what I read if you doing bad and put to many real bajorans behind bars you get a angry riot ? Now that is troublesome to say the least.
I mean shooting someone or control an angry crowd without hurting them ....

I forgot, but I still have the Undine detector from Terradome on my older characters (even if the mission was removed the item is still there, and do a pinky/purple wave ).
I hope it will work !
eeeuuuuhhhh, wrong now that you tell them they gonna make it useless !!
*facepalm*. Stupid me ! They are probably going to delete it, ban my account for obvious cheat, and delete my support ticket when I'll ask questions.
An average day in the office for PWE.
Why are you worrying about a GROUND queued mission, who does those anymore? After the new wears off it will join the other empty ground queues.
Just like half the queued missions they add with every updates.
I'm pretty sure this one will be empty really soon, because less pewpew boomboom, and any idiots can TRIBBLE up the whole thing by accusing everyone of being Undines or let them free.
And we all know will see this kind of idiots. Remember the "Hifle !" guy on BORG stf ground ? The one that never remodulated his weapons, even when explained to do so ? Everyone who played ground in pug know one of them.
My bet about this PvE is that it will take experience to understand it. Make a few run-throughs with a pre-made team. You will at one point understand what it is that the game wants from you.
Just think of those first few STF runs we all did: the 10% rule used to dominate all of our tactics, once we came to understand it. We will get to know when somebody is answering questions in a suspicious way.
Give it some time.
I'm looking forward to do this one with the fleet.

Yes but the 10% rule fell prety soon after a lot complained about it...

I dont think this queue will suceed. Maybe new players will find it really interesting, but experienced people dont want to spent 20 minutes just walking around and making conversation with the npcs. They want action, and something that will consume those 20 minutes faster enough. If i need to ask a couple of npcs some questions, thats fine, but if i need to ask 10 npcs something, erm, sorry but i am not a diplomat lol. After the first 2 im already waiting the mission to end lol.
One thing is to complete a story mission where the dialogue is relevant and even well-made. But in this case?? pff.

yeah, really. Unless it has a long mission script(like the salt vampire mission) it's simply a matter of accomplishing objectives quickly.

Then why can't i ever go a day without someone whining that STO is full of pew pew and no Trek

Are you saying that Bajoran atheists are Undine? That means there is an Undine on the Enterprise-F.
