I love 3 man away teams

I love how the Dyson ground Battlezone gives me a 3 man team like a traditional rpg. The team size makes you consider a specialized build instead of having a huge team that can do everything. I would like to see more zones that allow us 1 or 2 officers only.

I agree, I will admit for the most part I hate the ground in this game.

The dyson zone though I found... fun. I won't admit to that when my friends are around though.

Everything else on the ground in this game is mindless.

Yeah, they got something right in the Dyson ground combat zone.

That ability to bring a couple of boffs is a huge part of it.

Not nerfing the rewards is another.

And fun is the right word.

Not hyper challenging, not sweat inducing, not a chore......just fun.

And there's nothing wrong with that.

    More of this please.

Unless you're not including yourself, traditional RPGs would be a four man team.

I tend to use turret spam.... this often results in teams with multiple engineers. I even do it on Mol'Rihan. Dual engineers wandering around.

actually.... traditional rpg's ranged from 4 man, to 6 man depending on the game series. FF was always 3-4. Might & Magic was like 5-6. D&D games you usually had a party of 4-6.

the only "traditional RPG's" I've seen where its always a 3 man team have mostly been BioWare's work of KotOR and ME.

You need more or less boffs depending on the zone and the difficulty. Its not a question of anything else. The same reason you go alone in a lot of places, or the same reason you go with only 1 boff in New Romulus (it is an easier zone). Or the same reason yo go alone in Defera (its really easy for just 1 player alone).

So no. You cant "ask" for more boffs or less. It is everything intended.
