One thing Cryptic keeps ignoring is the clear listing difference between the lowest and highest level of the same skill. I really don't like trying to do a parse, that is not even provided by Cryptic, to know the difference between Fire At Will I, II, and III. I also have a problem trying to determine whether to use Beam Overload II or Beam Overload I due to the unclear power difference between the two.
Almost every other MMO I have played clearly lays out the difference of a upgraded version of the same skill. Is this just another in a long list of lazy things Cryptic decides to do to make the game "feel" like it has more depth?

Hear hear. I don't like having to go to a wiki site to know basic game mechanics. On a similar vein skills such as Starship Weapons Training have absolutely zero feedback as to how much benefit they give. I have to go and find the work of some player who has created a table of skill point effects on some third party site, which may, or may not, be accurate.
If players have to alt-tab out of the game and go to a website to get enough information to make decisions in-game, then I feel the developers have failed to provide sufficient basic information within the game world to inform decisions.
