Tetryons

Hello guys. I was playing a few patrols the other day to get my alt leveled a little bit more when I noticed something. The tetryons fired by the Hirogens I was fighting were purplish. Was this a recent update that I hadn't seen, or is it a bug with the graphics. I could've sworn tetryons were always a blue color, not purple.

since the last lock box all hirogen NPCs use destabilized tetryon energy weapons. They give a shield DoT (Damage over Time) instead of just the extra shield damage of normal tetryons. They're just ok, but they have a cool look and I like the DHC sound. So yeah, it's new.

EDIT: you may also notice that the Cardassians use Spirial Wave Disruptors instead of normal phasers that they used a while ago.

Ok, I was wondering why the color suddenly changed. That is what I thought it was, but I hadn't yet seen them in action so I didn't know what they looked like. Thanks for the answer in such a short time.

Huh... I might have to harass the Hirogen myself to see this... its been a while.

Yeah, ran across 'em while playing my pointy-ear the other day. I'm like, I don't remember that. Oh, those must be them newfangled destabilizing tetryon things.

Then I saw how effective they weren't, and went back to proving plasma a superior weapon.

I think the Lexington needs to go show them that Phased Tetryon is better.
