some cinematic ideas

Ok so for a while I felt the STO cinematic experience was cheap, boring and in some cases painful. don't get me wrong the writing is good and the VO's are good too.

but I feel that STO needs to have a few things to make it better.

1. Mocap or Kinect support. think of how alive these characters would feel if they had their own movments, instead of the robot Lincoln movments and nonexsistant lip synch. I'd especially love to use my dusty kinect for this very thing, it gets boring in GMOD after a while.

2. Foundry Voiceovers....a necessity.

3. Source Filmaker style software for STO, or something rudimentary, something that would allow for the insertion of premade clips in foundry and or story content without the need for the game to come up with the script on command.

4. 3D map maker, I can't tell heads or tails with the 2d map in foundry, with 3d I can see what everything looks like and make more accurate placements.

some things I know would be hard, but STO and NW are the only few games with something like Foundry and these tools would make it all the more valuable.

Doesn't this game have bad enough dancing as it is? Do we REALLY need to see Klingon's twerking?
Well excuse me for having enormous flaws that I don't work on.

if you can sucessfully do it through a kinect, then it is an amazing acomplishment, if you can do it via mocap, then you're a douche.
