I'd settle for Undine-hunter killer ships though...as in ships designed specifically to hunt and kill undine.
Yeah, that'd be pretty cool i think (And it doesn't totally TRIBBLE on the lore), And i like having 3 different skins for the factions, gives you an incentive to collect them
Leaks have hinted that there will be Undine ships in the next lockbox and lobi store. Might even be a third if they do a similar doff pack promotion like with the Bulwark Dreadnought.
I also read about a new KDF ship sometime down the road?

First i have heard from that.
Personally i think we have a better chance of flying a borg cube than an undine vessel.
There is a lot of speculation on a possible reboot for the intrepid (voyager, delta quadrant etc) and the Dauntless is on the to-do list.
If they throw in DQ lockboxes, perhaps a mirror universe intrepid.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
Is there a schedule? Got any new ship info? fillme in!
There is a schedule. They don't share. Cause obviously if Ship X coming out later this month is not as cool as Ship Z coming months down the road to some folks, they might not try to get Ship X. However, if they don't know if Ship Z is coming - there's the increased potential probability of the possibility that they might maybe think about getting Ship X...and then later also get Ship Z.

I completely second this motion, and will add that I hope it comes this way with the whole Borg ship jargon I see on the forums occasionally. Undine, Borg, Dominion should never be playable species, and you shouldn't be able to fly their ships. The Borg ships I wouldn't think a normal humanoid character would be able to control at all anyways, as they are part of the collective, and the drones all work in harmony with the ship.
To me there isn't many ships left that I would get. I still have a few I hadn't got yet still on my list. Like the Avenger, Mogi, Jem Dread, Hirogen ship.
They already killed the KDF K'Vort BOP. So that went that purchase. And I think they killed the New Orleans class as well. So that went another purchase.

Personally, I'd *love* to fly an Undine ship! Say, a Nicor or something.
And lore?! Guys, that ship has sailed a long, long time ago! Let it go. We're all just trying to have fun here. Now, I love my Fed canon ships too, but, overall, the more exotic, the better!
According to the sto wiki (maybe its true, maybe not) there is " a metric ton of new ships" in planning to come out in 2014 (which could mean the feared Tier 6 ships which would leave your favourite odyssey, Armitage, Defiant or Regent outdated) including a playable Variant of the U.S.S. Dauntless, that fake Federation ship from Voyager. Possibly another Sci ship with Slipstream abilities

I still say they need to take a cue from the Temporal Lockbox and offer some more faction-split lockboxes.
Granted this is a lot harder now with the RR in the mix. My idea was for "versus"-themed lockboxes showcasing two different species, one from each faction, other than human and Klingon. For example, you;d have a "Vulcan vs Orion" lockbox where the top prize would be either a new Vulcan ship or a new Orion ship, handed out in a similar manner as the Temporal Science ships but not being basically the same ship on both sides. And the best part is this setup could last for multiple lockbox iterations - Vulcan/Orion, Andorian/Gorn, Tellarite/Nausicaan, Caitian/Ferasan, Bajoran/Lethean, etc etc. If each race gets a grand prize and a lobi consolation prize ship, suddenly you've got sizable representation for races that, thus far, have gotten little or no love.
It could still be done but you'd run out of potential races really quickly seeing as the only ones RR-side you could remotely justify are Reman and maybe, maybe if you're willing to stretch, Suliban. Then again, I suppose you could keep bouncing between Reman and Suliban to help fill out the RR's somewhat lacking endgame ship roster as you do other races for KDF and Fed.
that is pretty bad. Also, the Yeager, the New Orleans, and the Enterprise J.
Yeager *gag* Maybe. New Orleans has been talked about for years, so I'm not holding my breath.
Ent J the devs already said no to. The ship is absurdly huge to the point of just not being feasible for player control. I think its supposed to be as long as ESD is tall.
Undine lockbox is confirmed, and the actual undine consoles have been released aswell, one being nicor and another being something I don't remember, uncommon name it had regardless. I dunno about the stats of the ships but the ships have few wierd abilities like the planetkiller combo you can use with few players together.

Support 90 degree arc limitation on BFaW! Save our ships from looking like flying disco balls of dumb!
Nope Cryptic guards that info closer then a Ferengi holding on to his last slip of Latinum.
Good grief, i hope not.
Those Undine ships should not be player ships.

That is not a very good Ferengi.
awesome banner dude
can i use it too? lol

If this is true it will be a glorious day for the Empire! I certainly hope it's true.

The constellation saucer leaked recently, I'd say it's nearly here they're just getting the Picard Maneuver down.
TRIBBLE Hydra! Hail Janeway!

I thought WoW's forums had angry elitist snobs, but I never could have imagined the level STO forums has.
It's a hard ability to get right. (I would know, I've talked to the devs about it)
Do you have a link?

They should make up new ships then

The only thing I would really like to see is a Sol or Qo'nos that wasn't crawling with alien ships in orbit.
My character Tsin'xing
Not impossible, unfortunately I'd suspect it would only happen in PWI decided to cut ties with Steam to try and force yet more people towards Arc...
llady, we share the same dream.... oh oneday...
