How would i go about/ who would i talk to, to get permission to make a review video on youtube about the new content in Star Trek Online.. the video in question would ofcourse be monetized thus explains the reason for wanting permission.

Well I think with the term "monetized" you automatically pre-determined the answer to be "No," and thus negated any need to contact anyone. They're not keen on other people making money off this stuff, see.

Monetization might just mean the video has ads that give money to the author. Lots of game companies allow this, although Nintendo is a notable exception. They will let your video stand, but will get all ad proceeds from that video.

So the answer isn't as clear as that. I really don't know what the policies affecting this are for the entities involved.

    Why must it be monetized?

Oh right, you want to be E-famous.

How about not making that video not monetized? If you're like most monetized youtubers I've met, you're making jack-all in revenue anyway.
