Star Trek Online going down tomorrow?

Hey guys! I am just curious that with all the servers down and with the outage that happen a couple weeks ago does that mean the server will be shut down tomorrow permenatly???

    They just said they had things planned for later in the week and month. Furthermore, it isn't April 1, 2014 yet where you live. So...what are you thinking?

    Legally speaking it should be shut down.

    So many critical bugs literally around for years.

    Customisation content = non existent or very limted for an mmo 4 years old.
    (kdf especially)

    The whole game screams bare bone development.
    Granted it was like that from the start.. and the whole reason the game nearly went broke in the first place untill they switched to f2p.

    Exactly! International laws state that if bugs are not foxed a game MUST shut down. Who here wantsto contact the internet police?

    I am not talking about the game being doom I am saying about STO doing to turn off because with all of the the server issues so if its off then there is no more trouble.

    Wait until you get brought into an eight hour meeting at work to discuss upcoming corporate changes only to find out at the end that they are proposed and unlikely to get passed.

    Why is it, when I start real threads, with real questions on actual gameplay, asking the community for advice/ hints etc... I get, maybe 2 or 3 replies at best.

    Yet this garbage is on page 2 at the time I'm writing this :confused:

    Since the server crash, I havn't had a splitsecond of lag spike...

    Did you plug in your 56K modem ?

    Youre in the wrong chat tab lol, Or you could just disable it from chat options if thats not the case. Stupidity is not a bug :D

    If there is going to be server maintenance, they will tell us.

    If the game is going to shut down forever, you better believe it will get announced (i.e. found out about and posted on legit news sites before any official announcement is made. And no, zone chat is not a legit news source). MMO closures are a big deal, look at the craziness surrounding the City of Heroes shutdown.

    When you play these games, go by the Samuel L. Jackson line from Avengers:
