Romulan Story

It is funny that I have been playing off and on since open beta, and my first lvl 50 was a Romulan. And I do know why that is. As a casual player, I got bored quickly early in the game because of the grind. The Rom story line flows a bit better, even with some of the episodes. I was able to stay with the Rom because there was a story behind it, not just a war.
I honestly think that the best way to improve the game is to include more story. I know that every MMO has grind that is just the way it is. But why can't we develop a good story, It would be sweet if they could do an actual story with a plot and even some plot twists for Fed and Klingon. I know there is a little story behind the factions, but it is not as in depth as the Roms.
With out a good story, and with just doing the same missions, I have a hard time getting my other toons to level. For me it takes some of the fun out of it when I do the exact thing on several toons. I like the episodes, but it is odd that I have at least 2 toons of different lvls on the same episode. It is like watching a remake of a rerun.
I would love to see, though I know it will never happen. Career specific story lines, crew based story lines (inside ships), perhaps even some off duty/shore leave type story. Give STO some good Trekkie feeling storys, in the shows they didn't just fight.
And on the inside of the ships, please use some of the already built sets (for missions) to expand and vary the internal look of our ships.
