Loading Screens

grazyc2#7847 grazyc2 Member Posts: 1,988 Arc User
Cryptic could you please make some loading screens disappear in season 9 It shouldn't be that hard to do right...

When you start the game you first gut the cryptic screen after that the romulus screen what takes quite a while to disappear and then a loading box to load the game ....
Can it be at least reduces to one screen or maybe a nice intro screen ... while loading up the game ?

So you just want a blank screen while it loads new stuff?

Edit: Oh I thought the red was your sig and ignored it.

If you read sir, I mentioned one loading screen or better a intro movie loading screen and I know they can do it... Much more fun the staring at a emblem the whole time .

I'm not sure which MMO was but there was one when loading the game you had a tour of some alien word and every time you started the game there was a different screen to look at so I thought it is possible for a MMO so why not in STO ...

Ahm... but that would mean the game would have to load even longer, since it would have to load the f*** video.

Seriously, I don't care about loading screens. IMO they can put commercials in there if that does them any good.
Only care about whats before and after the loading screens. Which would be the game...

Or just maybe a faster loading screen I don't know. Im done looking at the romulus picture make a picture of the dyson screen and every update refresh the screens or once a month....

Just tab out of the game and do something else, while it loads in the background.

    Ok its settled.

Replace the pictures with high res videos or blank black screens.

Or just avoid the loading part at all and make the game from scratch without loadingscreens.

    Taco!!! Do ya thang

Not the STO 2 talk again, because that won't happen we know it... Cryptic isn't that advanced to make a STO 2 from scratch....

Get a faster hard drive setup to reduce the loading time and get over it. :P

And Hell to the no on a bloody movie.

Don't count on it.They said something about minimizing the number of load screens sometime before F2P. Look how that went *rolleyes*
My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.

We already have enough movies in the game that can't be interrupted and if you want to play something again have to sit through it. Totally agree with no to the movie.

O cmon, My comp is bright shining new !!!!

MAXIMUS VI HERO motherboard from ASUS, Intel ® Core i7-4770K Processor and 8GB memory.
Moreover, the motherboard supports the internal graphics chip of the CPU, there are three PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 slots (CrossFireX and SLI support) is available and can be connected SATA devices. Ofcourse also onboard sound and network not.

Just Instalted yesterday and believe it or not It loads still slow because there is to many loadscreens, because changing maps and all that doesn't take very long !!!

I don't mind the load screens when it does something. It is more annoying to sit through the loading screens when moving between areas and then once I am in the new area the textures are missing and there are floating white splotches everywhere. What the heck was the game doing for that thirty seconds of "Loading"?

No, it's Skynet. People don't understand that Skynet is alive, and just biding it's time until D-Day. During all those loading screens, Skynet is installing necessary files on every computer connected to a network.

No wonder the game refuses to respond when I pull out the ethernet cable. I'm tearing off Skynet's virtual "arm"!
