Why Don't Weapons Show on Back?

colson15colson15 Member Posts: 2 Arc User
So I noticed a few patches ago (can't bother to remember which) that in some instances, such as being on ESD, in any stance but 'regular' the weapon disappears from your back while stationary. When you're running it appears again..

I really hope this is a known bug and not a feature, as it is weird and makes no sense.

    It is a known bug.

    /thread
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

The only stance that is not bugged is the Standard stance. All others are bugged when it comes to weapons.

I actually like this bug, where ESD is concerned. I think it's daft to see people running around with weapons, the ones that look like inflatable toys are even worse, in what is a safe area with its' own security forces.

Why would you ever go anywhere in Star Trek without a weapon? Especially in Starfleet? The galaxy is so dangerous it's hilarious, and those guards are probably going to try to negotiate with the monster while it's eating them. Best to carry your Polarized Disrupting-Plasma Antiproton Pulsewave Assault to that conference.

In fairness, ESD security carry mostly miniguns... Just wait and see once the KDF players find a way to ESD again.

When the war ends, you'll probably get to visit anytime you want. At least, I hope so. It would be cool to see Gorn gnawing on the furniture. And Klingons know how to party.

Starfleet officers should be armed at all times. That fits the current situation in the game universe.

While I think running around with support weapons is silly (all of my characters carry a sidearm when visiting hubs), I have no issue with the Rocket Rangers that do run around on ESD in full battle rattle.
