STO's license does not end in 2015. Our exclusive contract extends for years beyond that and we have the option to renew.

    Cheers,

    Brandon =/\=

As for if they're working on STO 2 or not (which I doubt) they wouldn't release any information anyways.

Nike is actually making the shoes. They are a little late if McFly is supposed to arrive today.

Edit And the plot was October 2015 so Nike still has a little more time.

I think Taco was making a joke about rumors. The real date on the time machine's clock in the film is October, 21, 2015.

    Star Trek Online 2.

It's certainly in the works. New cutting edge graphics on the newest and most modern engine imaginable. Painstaking detail on every model, with perfectly aligned phaser lances and canon accurate Galaxy class renditions that match the ships from the show you know and love perfectly.

Balance is excellent. DPS have their role, but if they get too recklessly they will be obliterated in PvE. Thankfully, excellent ships like the Galaxy Explorer have a tank build that is not only relevant, but down right necessary just to handle the heat of those tactical cubes making the dps sweat. Not even the all important tank ships will be enough to handle foes of such unimaginable power alone however, thus Science ships will need to support the group and keep their allies healthy. All will have to work together if any are to succeed and survival is not guaranteed.

Exploration and investigation will also be a large part of Star Trek Online 2. Weapons fire may become necessary, if the situation calls for it and an enemy leaves no other choice. But violence is never the first solution and always left as a last resort. Boffs will have varied and useful traits that are useful for all factions from all ends of the spectrum. While all are useful, none are always the most useful at everything all the time. For that matter, there really aren't any boff traits now that one thinks about it. Not one. You simply run with the crew you want without regard for how it will impact your effectiveness. These features and many others await you in Star Trek Online 2.

The current plan is to ship it around the release date of Shenmue 5.

Wasn't your last thread asking to know why only 3 devs were working on season 9?

You have got to be the most gullible human on the planet! Any chance you want to buy some land in Texas? I assure you it has oil on it. I'll sell it to you cheap. :)

Hey, I am working a deal for him to buy my seaside property overlooking the Sea of Tranquility. :)

The new engine line alone should have been a clue though on so many levels.

That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.

I call it, the Stoutes paradox.

    Rumor is just that: Rumor...

Probably created by some fat guy in his basement, with dorito fingers and keys on keyboard.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

It's a bit worrying that I came to the third line before the little guy armed with a hammer of reality + 3, actually stepped in and made a mess out of that warm fuzzy feeling that was starting to spread from the upper floor. :P

Licences of an IP are almost always for a set amount of time and subject to renewal(or not) - that is not a rumor - the only question is of a date/cost/conditions - none of which has been disclosed as far as I am aware.

As far as an STO 2 with a new engine - based on exploring strange new worlds - meeting random new species - colonizing new parts of the galaxy and getting a Retrofited/revamped/re-armored
T6 Constitution class Starship?? Well we can dream!!

truth is, STO 2 is like Leisure Suit Larry 5 (i think it was). It was so offensive and rude that they just scrapped the entire game and went to 3.
Should I start posting again after all this time?
