the devs have obviously been at the beck and call of the pvp ppl since s2. pve has been left to stagnate for years, while the pvp people get constant shinies and dev attention
Hahahaha amazing!! Damn PvPers getting all the dev focus.
I thought all the problems of STO were the Foundry authors, and their black robe cult? I'm sooo confused!!!??
It's a "1984" thing.
Today it's the PvPers so it's always been the PvPers and will always be.
Tomorrow it'll be blamed on the Foundry Autors again. So it's the Foundry cultists, has always been the Foundry cultists and always will be...until it's something else.
Like JJ Abrams or the Beatles.
Cryptic take a chance and change something and all it is is balls to the walls whine!
PvP players want balance to the game and that won't happen without some "painful" changes.
But you know whatever lets keep the game in it's same broken state, let's keep the exploits and cheese so over powered it puts people off of PvP. Hell, it's easier to throw some cheese around rather than playing a fair, challenging pvp game right?

That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.
Who dissed on Ker'rat Zone Chat? That chat is a sick, twisted, glorious and wonderful piece of humanity that I wish I could watch without end anywhere I go.
ESD Zone Chat on the other hand is a hive of scum and villainy, 'nuff said.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.
Yes! PvPers wield the great Nerf above all Nerfs! They are the scourge of all new ships, consoles and reputation powers! They know the bugs that must not be named!
Oh, and you guys don't understand what's so entertaining about Kerrat zone chat?
Watch an episode of Tom and Jerry and get back to me. Or a good old Bugs Bunny short. It's the same sort of entertainment.
EVERYTHING IS ALL OUR FAULT its not you know, people doing STFs in 45 seconds or anything.
o_O
PvP is the real blame, I FEEL BLAME
HELP ME OBI WAN NERFBATTY, YOURE MY ONLY HOPE
I don't PvP very often - a couple of bouts in my shuttle are fun though! - but I agree with the implied sentiment here.
Balance and countering power creep are not to be dismissed as just PvP concerns. A healthy PvP community is a good thing!
What I find frustrating though is when people segment themselves into these camps. You hear people talk about PvP or PvE'ers, or Feds vs Klinks. Why are you limiting yourself? Who doesn't have at least one character per faction, and if not why not? Who doesn't at least dabble in PvP or PvE?

So you should feel the blame. No use calling on Nerfbatty you are beyond any hope of help :P

Never try to be sarcastic on the Internet.

I call it, the Stoutes paradox.
Carrying their sorry A**es all the way up to Donatra, before I finally said TRIBBLE this.
And in no way am I that bad when nothing but the Tac cube in the beginning, or donatra poses a challenge. Sorry but they are undoubtably garbage.
Praetor of the -RTS- Romulan Tal Shiar fleet!
Tac/sci destroyer drain build 9k+ dps easy for me.
