so yea I know it's probably been scraped off the to do list, but I remember when Dstahl mentioned he was working on a plan with the other devs to make use of our docked ships by giving them to our boffs to travel with us. while also allowing us to rank them to captain.
I realize by now it'd most likely be limited to only 2 ships per char, and it'd most likely be in a class of its own for STF's, like having a chance at some new STF's or something.
but I really REALLY want to see this happen, like how we already do boffs for ground but for space instead, maybe even allow us to do 4 ships following us for solo missions.
Sometime between never and "who the hell wants to be an admiral in a Jim Kirk simulator?".

Kirk one shiped things end game content in this game is about teaming so dont get ur point here
Has to do with the ongoing theme in the movies about being an admiral is a desk job and being a captain in the captain's chair is where the adventure is.
To apply that point to this thread ... Star Trek games probably feel more Trek when they're more about being a Captain and less about managing a fleet of ship pets as an Admiral.

be that as it may, I've got a shipyard full of ships, and many lazy boffs, time to put them all to good use.
