Ok... now the mirror thing was fun the first time.... around time 17 (about 5.5 hours later of non-stop mirror the first day going through all my characters.... not so much). I've spent I believe over 40 hours doing nothing but mirror universe things for all my characters.....
I absolutely hate the mirror universe thing now....
I just had a suggestion/question/comment/whatnot: Why can't we have a different type of mission to get the rewards needed for the events thing?
Ex: instead of "play mirror until your eyes bleed and you wish to never play the game again", have it "play mirror space, or this ground mirror, or this other mirror thing, or something where we can choose what to do (like 2-3 different things that give the items needed), just so we can have something different to play so it's not the same thing over and over.... same with the floater races, and ice races.... give a few options of things we can do to mix it up!
I only have two toon, but I only focus on one of them for all these different "reputation" missions for marks and what not. Fed is my primary game and I do grind the various elite PvE missions for "stuff" and dilithium. I also focus on Doffs missions. KDF is a secondary game where I simply focus on Doff missions and earning dilithium to expand Doff slots. I don't bother with rep system related missions.
I would say 66% - 75% of the time I use to play STO I devote to my Fed game.
While the others are right it would be at least welcome if a grind would provde two or more ways to earn the marks needed. A ground mirror mission would have been great indeed or maybe let the missions have some kind of random element to them (a random event that might happen that changes the mission objectives). You can let us grind and log in daily and maybe NOT regret it as much.

"No. Men do not roar. Women roar. Then they hurl heavy objects... and claw at you." -Worf, son of Mogh
"A filthy, mangy beast, but in its bony breast beat the heart of a warrior" - "faithful" (...) "but ever-ready to follow the call of the wild." - Martok, about a Targ
"That pig smelled horrid. A sweet-sour, extremely pungent odor. I showered and showered, and it took me a week to get rid of it!" - Robert Justman, appreciating Emmy-Lou

I agree. A little more variety would go a long way. Absolutely.
It's just even with that variety, there will still be some players doing it on 10 or more alts and then some of that group of players will be surprised that the experience gets boring and then some of that group of that group will post about it.
But yeah, even just a space AND ground variety would add spice.
It's not just the matter of doing it with too many characters .
It's also the matter that we went from the Winter Grind to the Anniversary Grind right into the Mirror Grind .
And wait for it ... , Season 9 is almost here with ... a new rep grind .
So ... we're looking for variety , right ?
Maybe this is not quite the variety we're looking for .

This is the universal truth.
