change ship interior style?

We already can change the look of our bridge, but I would be interested in changing the other ships layouts and style(size of hallways, look of different rooms, colors, etc.) to change, and match the bridge selected.

    Coincidently I just came here to post about this subject.

    At the weekend I brought the tier 1 Enterprise and TOS bundle which comes with the Enterprise bridge and interior for my brand new toon and OMG it is well worth the money, it's really cool to have the chance to walk around locations from the TV show itself and hear the sound effects too -sickbay with the oh so familiar heartbeat beds is amazing.


    Is there any chance you could also add TNG Galaxy interior as well please Perfect World? :)

    Should Cryptic ever implement a "tailor your own ship's interiors" system what you are talking about would be a natural extension of that. It is entirely possible that they could palette-match the current interiors as well though I do not remember that ever being an in-game thing.
    Proposals for using in-game features to improve: (1) the "Phaser Lance" (and other underrepresented/missing "big guns"); && (2) separation systems on all ships that have them; && (3) training boffs in captain only powers by using boffs as pack-mules; OR to add functionality like: (4) "Away Teams Of Space Ships";

    I believe the defiant gives a new ship layout also.

    There is the TOS interior, the "Default" interior from when they first added expanded interiors, and the Belfast interior.

    I would like to see TNG/TMP interiors, Sovereign (First Contact/Insurrection/Nemesis) and Voyager interiors added. That would mean 6 interiors to choose from, assuming they haven't changed the default interiors. I haven't gone below decks since before season 7.

    Colour palette options would be nice too. I'm sure I remember a TNG episode where we saw the inside of another Fed ship that had a Galaxy style interior with teal doors instead of the Ent-D's horrible orange ones.

    Wasn't that the episode "Where Silence has Lease" (TNG)? They were pulled into a "hole" in space and encountered a fake USS Yamato.

    I'm really not sure. I thought it might have been the SS Tsiolkovsky from 'The Naked Now'; but I looked at some pics, and it seems it had grey doors.

    Can't for the life of me remember where I saw it. :confused:

    It's been pretty well-established that Cryptic has decided that full interiors are not the best use of their time/resources, and they're focusing on bridges only for the foreseeable future.
    You're right. The work here is very important.

    Either way, I would like to see the option to customize interior features like this.

    Allowing people to design interiors could be BIG for STO. It's not really a Star Trek thing but it is a MMO thing. It would sell a lot more Lifetime Memberships. Take Star Wars Galaxies, total customization of room interiors. Some players sold their services to be interior decorators from what I heard.

    A few months back I put together an extensive proposal on revamping the ship interior to be both customisable according to class, size, decor etc, as well as making the customisations relevant to gameplay as a whole (boarding action, feature episode missions that use a player's ship customisation to tailor their playthrough experience):

    My question is WTF IS THE NEW INTERIOR ALREADY????



    its been made...its in the tutorial.......why do we still not have it...that's the one I want and would be content with .....lets just facelift earthspacedock for the 3rd time.....
