Automatically subscribe to threads?

I went through the user cp but there isn't an option to automatically subscribe to threads I start. Can someone tell me where that is?

    When you make a post it's in the additional options box right below the text box. Once you select your notification type, it will stay the same through the posts you make.

    Edit: It doesn't stay the same, boo...

    Unfortunately there is no auto subscribe. You have to do it manually every time as fatman describes.

    Default Thread Subscription Mode: no email notification
    the web gurus at pwe have done their best to completely bork their implementation of vbulletin 3, but the options page is indeed still there and does work.
