Just wanting to make sure of something...(C-Store related)

Just yesterday, I finally decided to do something I'd been wanting to do since I joined STO last October, and bought myself a TOS Constitution ship for my main.... :D

The STO Wiki page indicates it's an account-wide unlock for all Federation characters, yet the C-Store description lacked this bit of info! >_<;

The questions are, then, is it indeed an account-wide thing, and, if so, does that also apply to any further Fed characters I choose to make?

Many thanks in advance!

All c-store ships are account unlocks and can be used by all characters of the appropriate faction present and future.
It's not my fault if you feel trolled by my Disco ball... Sorry'boutit.

    Well, that's a relief! :D

I mean, it wouldnt've been a huge loss if not, but still...now, I can get creative for my next planned Fed character!

Additionally, the TOS Enterprise comes with a couple of fairly useful phaser banks that level with you.

They level oddly, inasmuuch as they set themselves to the lower mark level of the bracket you're in.

So, more useful just after promotions than just before them.

And they're retro, so blue :)

Yep I was thinking along the same lines myself so yesterday I brought TOS Enterprise plus TOS pack (which contains TOS bridge) I already own the tier three Excelsior on my first characters account and I'm going to buy the new Galaxy pack that comes out tomorrow (which also includes the Galaxy bridge).

I've created a new Vulcan character and this means now I can take him all the way from cadet to Vice Admiral while only using cannon ships :D

    TOS Constitution
    Constitution tier 2
    Excelsior
    Galaxy
    Galaxy Refit
    Galaxy Dreadnought

Plus I'm not going to do any episodes until I reach the rank of Vice Admiral so it will be a nice slow climb to the top which will give me plenty of time to really learn each ship as I go along :)

The TOS blue phasers are good levelling up guns for sci ships and cruisers. If you keep claiming and dismissing the Connie, you can keep harvesting the phasers off it until you have a full set of 4 forward and 4 aft. I used them on my Sci all the way until she hit 50 when she moved into the Vesta and switched to cannons. The TOS phasers even though they "scale" don't really hold up in Lv 50 endgame play, so you'll want to replace them at that point, but they'll get you all the way to 50 no problem.

I did not know you could do this! Good to know.

You can also get level appropriate "Retro" Pjasers by replaying a certain mission ... So you can get pretty decent end game level Phasers that have a nice bonus to Crit to go with your Connie.

Thanks to the bonus xp weekend, I've already made it to lv 11-12, so I'm in my Gladius Escort now, but my TOS Connie is still special.... :D

That would be Everything Old is New - though these do not automatically level up with Your character, You will have to replay the mission for an upgraded version once You reach a new rank (every 10 levels).

Nice... I wish we could at least put it's skin on the Tier II Connie.

I sometimes take the Tier II Connie to do the Tau Dawa dailies... with Adapted MACO gear, 2x dual beam banks front and something on back like the 360 degree Antiproton gun or a torpedo launcher. I rarely die but the DPS is low... but it's fun! :)
